There's one of the old Metra cars. I use to really like them, they were so pretty. I would like to know whatever happened with them because I've heard that the light-gray cars with red/blue striping that I've seen repeatedly over the past few years are from the 1980s, and I was wondering if they were the white ones with the red/black striping, but got a new paint job.
The crossing starting at 3:35 is the Elmwood Park (Grand Ave) crossing where there was a huge accident between a Metra train and about 20 cars six years ago.
i like this line because you don't have to deal with all those black people. those nigger don't do nothing but cause trouble on the train. thanks for the video

At 3:40, you were going through the crossing where a couple years ago just before Thanksgiving where traffic was backed up across the tracks, and 5 or 6 cars got hit by a train and shoved into about 10 other cars. Was a big mess.
I remember hearing about that accident on the news. It was terrible. I couldn't tell for sure if that crossing was on our route but I often wondered about it.
I recognized it from the angle of the crossing and the large signs over the approaches of the crossing warning drivers of the long crossing and not to stop on the tracks.

Thanks. We boarded the train near Schaumburg which is northwest of the city, maybe 20 miles or so. I believe we were riding on BNSF rails.

they are bi-level cars this on the upper deck the "hole" is so when passengers walk through they dont have to duck under the upper deck
