I love this guy's stuff. I can't say that I'm completely pleased with his interpretation of this song though. I wish he could have pulled off the eights during the heavy part, "Darkness/ Imprisoning me/ All that see/ Absolute horror....." Everything before the black album was made with a classical approach. Probably because of Cliff Burton....

i'd say because of Bob Rock the former producer from Metallica (better known as ofcourse, the black album till St.Anger).

He turned the metallica train into another way, trying to get more a Live feeling on the albums.

And i think he also let them try some more classical stuff in the songs. They really turned the orchestra down on the black album at Nothing else matters already. they hated it at first but now they love it.

How can anyone say that he's not playing this for real? Having worked with MIDI and VST instruments before, you just can't quite get them to sound HUMAN. Comes close, but never quite makes it.
