@Koreant1m I don't wish to argue with you, but I recommend you check your facts - Sungha has been playing the guitar only since 2006. Now I'd say that a 14-year-old who plays the guitar like a pro (after four years, that is), learns new songs by just watching others to play and even composes his own music can be called a prodigy...

But I think you are quite correct in saying that people should remember to appreciate not just his talent but also his devotion (a lot of hard work) to what he does.

However, people in general do not appreciate musicians based on how many years they have been playing, but rather on how well they play their instrument at this very moment. So I really don't see what would be the point of lying about that – although that of course does not prove anything.

Just saying that it's not really that obvious. Especially considering how exceptional prodigies this world has seen before.

Okay i want to clear things up, i don't think he is a prodigy, he practiced everyday since he was a baby to get to this level. I don't think he was perfect since he was a baby. In his interview(no offense, not saying he isn't) Guitar isn't something like piano. guitar is more flexible(harder too, play around to be good) and piano(easier to understand, you can figure out how to be good) is more straight. saying he's alot more pro than you guys think.

I have to say, even though I love Sungha I feel that the videos in which he plays the songs in his livingroom have much better sound quality, here it all sounds kinda buzzy.

@TheVundeR I find it difficult to do control my facial expressions when i play hard guitar parts due to the amount of concentration required. I can imagine that to be the case with him as well, seeing as he does all kinds of magic with that guitar. he's pretty happy while playing i suppose :)

Sungha Jung has very in depth history wwith classical music. I commmend anyone who has the historical backround that I have, I implore anyone who doesn't with the true history behind the music that Sunga represents. Sunga is a prodigy. But still, Singa represents music that has been passed down. You should take the time to appreciate the works that have bolstered what Sunga Jung is.
