Hey mate, Im 15 and have been doing Javelin once a week as something to do for a laugh and have fun.. Im throwing between 39-45m on a normal throw.. Im no elitist thrower but what should I be looking to throw ?

And any home training I can do ?

Aaait, Yes. I'm 14 and mij PB with Javelin is 56,34m. With discus 45,53m and shot put my best 15,67m. Hammer throw is not very good : 39,87m But i go do it on a meeting. See ya later!

What's your PB with Shot Put, Discus throw, Hammer throw, and Javelin?

well, my pb´s are

shotput 7.26kg = 11.38meters.

Discus (2kg)= 34.99m,

hammer (7.26) = 30.24m,

javelin (800gr) = 76.08meters.

the throws are between 67-73 meters.. the pullover like movement is called shotsthrowing. the weight of the ball is 4 kg..

After sidestep, what is the angle of you elbow? The right way isn´t all extended, right? What should it be?

hi..

there are not a perfect angle of the elbow..some are throwing with at bent elbow (pitkamaki) and other (thorkildsen) are throwing with a almost extended elbow.
