I think this is an extremely valid response. I'm in agreement. Any other social minority and it would have been blown out of proportion. Instead of showing the concern or dislike of prejudice or genocide, it would have been marked as a personal opinion more so than it is now. Using red-headed people allows it to have shock value. It's disturbing in any case, but there is a certain sense of sensetivity that was used, but also another that was neglected.
