I think, that Fenrir is either a squib, or that he went to a magic school and got kicked out. if he got kicked out then he wouldnt have a reason or the need to keep practicing magic, he could just 'perfect' being a werewolf. i think that is why voldy kept him around... though i never imagined him fat, always really skinny like he was in the movie.

I don't know if you can buy a wand even if you aren't going to Hogwarts? Because it seems that wizards and witches buy their first wand before they are going to Hogwarts....so maybe Fenrir never went to Hogwarts, and never bought a wand, but was still a wizard. Fenrir is never seen actualy casting a spell is he? Don't think he's a wizard to begin with, he's just a werewolf so powerful Death Eaters keep him around due to his raw power. He's not a Muggle becouse he's a magical being, but that doesn't mean he has to practice magic himself.

Because Remus was the first wizard/werewolf to go to school, and Fenrir is older than Remus, and don't think Fenrir would have gon Beaxbatons or Durmstrang since he has no accent...sorry it's only because when the trio was kidnapped Bellatrix wanted to get Fenrir away, and she used her wand, which was what fenrir didn't have, and he didn't have the dark mark either....sorry rambling again...it's still awesome!!! =D

If Remus was the first werewolf to go to Hogwarts, that just means that, well, he was the first werewolf to go to Hogwarts. Not that there weren't wizard werewolves before him. It actually makes perfect sense if Greyback was a wizard but wasn't allowed to go to school so he never developed his magical skills and became an outcast in society. That's how werewolves lived, I don't think the headmasters before Dumbledore wanted werewolves in their school.
