  • Honest Answer: The Bible Is An Amazing Book, But It Is not Literally Truth:))

  • OMG...the little blinky beady eyes!!! Creepy....

  • This is the most intelligent set of answers I've heard him give.

  • I was quite surprised at that clip,

  • @infinightsky Yeah. :o He actually made complete sentences.

  • Dumb is dumb!

  • He certainly wasn't a bad guy. He just had slightly lower than average intelligence.

  • @GhonaSifilaids

    Slightly?

  • I've come around on Bush... He wasn't the best President, but he did what he did and what he thought was right for America. Many men would have crumbled with his responsibilities and situation he was put through.

  • @ReclaimAmber Oh that's right! I almost forgot we're all to blame for original sin. If I were in the same position as Eve there's no way I could just leave the fruit hanging from it's branch, even though I was explicitly told not to touch it. Come on! No one could resist throwing away paradise for a tasty, fresh piece of fruit. Only an idiot would listen to the head honcho and not a talking serpent. Every day I tell Jesus "I'm sorry for being born; I deserve everlasting torment!"

  • @ReclaimAmber True. When I have kids I'm gonna torture the hell outta them if they cross me even once. If they don't listen it's their fault, not mine.

  • I can't believe you re-elected this douchebag. He was in president chair for 8 years! Way to go USA....

  • 1:34 is what you came to see.

  • You know what would make the universe and the earth a lot less mysterious. rather than us finding out the hard way about germs, the cosmos and technology, etc? The creator fucking telling us!!!

  • George doth feel the spirit while smoking marijuana.

  • Bush is not a bad guy, just a guy who had a lot of responsability and humans make mistakes and struggle to find the best way. Do not expect for presidents to change the world, people are people and they too cannot change our and their mistakes and flaws.

  • @KRUL540 Well said.

  • @KRUL540 He wasn't a bad guy, except for the whole... him and his entire party going to great lengths to fabricate "evidence" to justify a war which they had decided they were going to embark REGARDLESS of whether they had justification for it or not, which in decades' time will be directly and/or indirectly responsible for over a million deaths, and so on and so forth.

It's scary that men like him are allowed to lead nations with an army in the 21st Century.

  • @Aethelhald

First thing, US-Iraq war never officially ended, so there wasn't really any justification needed to go there.

Second thing was that both parties saw the need to finish the job.

and Finally, the million deaths is a completely bogus figure. If you look at the Iraq Body Count project (deaths caused by any violent means), the total sums up to around 150,000. And that includes your typical murders, executions, and violence that doesn't involve the war.

  • @cr9527 keep watching CNN

  • @Aethelhald fabricate evidence??? theres nothing to fabricate....we were attacked by religious extremists.

  • @lilbeaveymac All of whom, if I remember correctly, were from Saudi Arabia.

  • @Aethelhald You're right but I was just trying to say that all of that is not a one man's job. America did NOT massively speak up at the moment of these events. It's far to easy to blame it all on one man.

  • @Aethelhald I agree with you very much. I dont think hes a bad guy, but hes dangerously ignorant, and seems proud of it.

  • @Aethelhald

I'm not a bush fan, but even i know that bush didn't fabricate anything regarding the iraq war. It was actually the GERMAN intelligence agencies that told bush about iraq having or trying to get WMD's. I'm a liberal democrat but damn some of us sure are brainwashed....

  • @andrewm153351 Splitting hairs. Bush's government had all sorts of things fabricated in an attempt to legalize a war they had already decided they were going to have no matter what. They flooded every news channel in the USA and Britain with 24-hour news reports that Saddam could launch a missile strike against Washington or London within 45 minutes of giving an order. I was 15 at the time and remember it well. They're doing the same thing now with Iran... the same 45 minute missile strike bit.

  • @Aethelhald

Again, the reports bush got were from INTERNATIONAL intelligence agencies.

And please, don't even try to compare iraq to iran. Iran has been PROVEN to be building nuclear weapons. And if you think otherwise you're only fooling yourself.

  • I don't disagree with him when he says "I'm just a simple president"

  • funny when he said the bible "probably" isn't literally true... NO SHIT? you ever saw someone multiplying food, walking on water or putting 2 of every animal on the planet into a single boat?

  • holy shit. im speechless. I just gained respect for George W Bush.

  • Bush does seem half decent in this video, shame he is a war criminal.

  • Well he is not TOTALLY insane, he doesn't hear voices YET.

  • Yes, you were a simple president...

  • 'Thou shalt do no murder'. He completely failed on that one.

  • I don't believe in god, but honestly, I think he sounds better here than usual.

He understands a bit of what the Bible is, and he realizes that evolution is

not incompatible with religion (It simply has no connection to fairy tales, but he gets the basic concept that science deals with reality.) I thought

he came off much better than usual. Still, however, a very average guy,

dealing with issues that are wholly beyond him. Sad really.

  • 01:35 He admits it at last! Replay that bit! Replay!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i dont agree with what he said, but gwb actually regained some of my respect (at least in terms of intellect) then i remember some of the things he messed up.

  • America this is the man who you chose to run your country for 8 years and still you wonder why things are as they are

  • @cosmosmonger As a result of biochemistry it exists, also in a few species of animals other than ours. "Souls" is what was debated here, the notion that the consciousness can magically exist without the biochemistry that makes it, and that's false.

  • and that has your presitent,so you call araps moron,or europeans or asian people

  • the lies continue...."I read the Bible".....not likely......Now Dick Cheney probably reads the Bible.

  • Is this maggot still alive?

  • Bush is was the worst president ever!!!

  • Of course he believes in god he's a total retard.

  • DUH!

  • You got to give it to him for trying to be sensible and at least stating that the bible isn't literal, but I bet that rubs most of his supporters the wrong way.

However, he really lost it when he said that he "believes" god created the world and that is compatible with the scientific "proof" of evolution. It isn't compatible and at least he inadvertantly makes the statement that one os belief and the other is proof........ Well done for trying!

  • The Constitution of the United States is a Pagan document. All of our Fore Fathers were pagan and not at all what we call Christians. Persisting on Christianity is an UN-American idea.

  • @MAZDAKPRODUCTION What? Pagan? Where'd you get that from? I think you're confusing Atheists and Deists with Pagans bro.

  • @TheAsymmetrical I am going to refer you to first site that comes up when you google pagan America

I suggest do your own research too on top of that. We have been lied to by the mainstream that has labeled astrology & paganism with a satanic brush. Happy researching brotha

  • Comment removed

  • @MAZDAKPRODUCTION Astrology has no basis in reality, if the mainstream are so pressed to paint it with a Satanic Brush, why then can I get my daily horoscope from about fifty thousand different magazines?

Atheism is definitely not labeled as Paganism though, whatever the primitive definition of it is in the "Heritage Dictionary."

The Obelisk and other features architectural features are merely just tributes due to the timeless style of Greek, Roman and Egyptian Architecture.

  • @MAZDAKPRODUCTION I will admit, I kind of lost the plot in a previous comment that I deleted as I thought you were some creationist conspiracy theorist, my bad, the websites pretty interesting though I take it with a pinch of salt to some extent and kind of chuckled when it debunked some Christian claims.

  • "I'm just a simple president." The most profound statement that man ever made.

  • The bible is pure fiction. But some of it is good reading to pass the time.

  • Wow, Bush was actually being... somewhat reasonable in this video. Never thought I'd say that.

  • "i'm just a simple president" truest words he ever said

  • yes bush learn alot start a war we have no business in.

  • Hmm... So bush believes in theistic evolution...

  • @youDISTURBEDme14 well, Bush istn stupid like the Media tried to make him look, id be willing to bet he's smarter than Obama, Obama apparentyl thought by becoming Pres that he could say "change this! change that! its for the good of america!" and have it magically happen, truth is, the President of the US is almost powerles on his own, he needs Congress to actually DO anything, Bush, he didnt bring us in 2 wars of his own sole will, he got Congress AND many foreign countries to agree to it FIRST

  • @youDISTURBEDme14 and i dont think all those Coaliton countries woulda agreed to help bush if they didnt think he was right, the same of Congress, if Congress and the Coalition countries didnt also agree he was doing the right thing, he wouldnt have been ABLE to do it, in Civilized countries, Wars cant just magically happen, theres whats called Rules of Engagement and other limits that if not followed make it illegal to invade another country, and the US wouldnt do that if it wasnt legal 1st

  • Putting words on my comment that just aren't there. Everyone is entitled to there opinion even if I disagree. The truth is there for all to see. You have free will to believe or reject it.

  • Dr. Gregory House: "If you talk to God, you're religious. If God talks to you, you're psychotic."

  • I had the impression that he was a religious nut, but in this video he actually make a lot of sense. Personally I do not believe in god, but i do believe that if he does exist, as far as creation of life goes, he is the one that set things in to motion by creating the first single-cell organisms, which is pretty much what the bush where saying :)

  • He believes & follows Satan! That is his god. The god of this world. The god of money & power. Evolution is a joke. Perpetuated on all who hate the True God. Creator of Heaven & Earth. YHWH!

  • @YankeeGoldProspect Yeah and while were at it let's kill all non-believers! Please, you even reject one of your own when he/she doesn't agree with you.

  • @YankeeGoldProspect coming from someone who cant even spell Yahweh? you sound like an idiot who too-heavilly and probly LITERALLY beleives religion to begin with, but your lack of knowing your religion makes you look even dumber, if you want to be religious nutcase at least do everyone a favor and dont take everything in the Bible at face-value, im sure the Bible is meant to be Figurative not Literal, also if you want REAL religion beleif, dont be Intolerant of other beleifs as you SEEM to be

  • @Lavos2007 (Idiot, Lack of knowing, Dumber, Religious Nutcase), How typical! Lesson for you since you obviously haven't read the Bible. YHWH is Gods name as told to Mosses. They could not pronounce it, so they had to add vowels! I am tolerant of all religions, though I may believe they are wrong. I don't hate because of that. The facts are evident! The Bible is literal. Revelation is happening before our eyes. God's Word is True and men are liars! Seek & you shall find.

  • why does he look like robin williams?

  • actually that was the smartest thing bush has ever said......evolution can be intelligent design.....cant prove that wrong.....

  • At least he believes in evolution, as well as the separation of church and state. I would rather bush as a president than any of the current republican candidates, and I think the man is an idiot.

  • my young-earth creationist republican friend's head is going to explode when he sees this.

  • atheist reporter don't know crud. And neither does Bush... She wouldn't have the courage to ask those questions to a real Christian who knows what he is talking about... I hate seeing crap like this... God is good.... Praise God!!! Father, Son, and Holy Spirit forever and ever!!! Bye

  • What a crock

  • why is people so stupid?/ he does not know anything about jesus and the bible.. he is a mason.. reporters should ask him what about the secret society

  • I long for the days when republicans were as level headed as Bush was in this video. Strange thought....

  • @wisperim you and me both, i also wish Bush was US Pres for the rest of hi natural life, he wasnt perfect, but weve had MUCH worse over the ages of the US, bush really wasnt satan incarnate liek the Media tried to paint him as with false or twisted information, but thats the problem with most news media outside the Internet and non-TV/Radio news channels, the TV and Radio news is full of corruption, they dont TELL the news anymore they MAKE the news whether mostly lies OR full out lies

  • @Lavos2007 I don't think the media ever tried to portray bush as Satan incarnate. They just showed him as being dumb. But then again that wasn't very difficult to do. Also I don't think wisperim meant he wanted bush to be president (president for life? really), just that Bush was more tolerant than current republicans. Also you know Bush basically caused 9/11 (he was given info on it days before it happened), spent all our money, assisted in the financial disaster we are in now... etc

  • Every now and again, I see these religious people and it almost makes me doubt "evolution" lol....perhaps evolving is only for those who want it?

  • Thanks to medical science we can now see exactly what happens in the brain of a religious person when they're fantasising about "communicating with God"..and there's nothing mysterious or supernatural about it at all. Hail science and ditch religions and superstitions now!:)

  • @winterstellar

no you don't because you cannot talk to God with your brain... It is your heart and soul that speaks to God... Get it right you downer atheist! Science is nothing but an observation of the world around us... You worship science... I worship the God that created everything you study!!! Praise God!!!! Forever and ever!!!!! Have a good one!!! Buh Bye now!!!!!!!

  • @chris62008 Souls do not exist. If it's consciousness/awareness you mean, they're products of the brain too. And you heart is a blood pump:)

  • @winterstellar

souls do exist. consciousness/awareness is product of the brain... which was created designed and created by God, and... your right... atheists have no heart. And I'm not talking about the organ. Have a good one!

  • @chris62008 haha, theists are just adorable

  • @chris62008

    >>atheists have no heart. And I'm not talking about the organ.

Of course not, you don't even know what you are talking about. 'Soul' and 'heart' are just empty labels, if you try to define them you will either fall to the natural world (awareness, emotions as chemical reactions interpreted by the brain) or you will resort to other empty labels, like 'spirit' (which only says it's non material, doesn't say what it IS). Even the word 'God' is an empty label here.

  • @winterstellar Souls definitely exist. You just haven't been able to feel yours yet. When I think of Science I think of the Allegory of the Cave. Science can say for certain that there are shadows on the wall... And if someone ever said to Science that there is more-- a whole other world with strange lights, colours and objects-- Science would quickly say "That is simply not true! These shadows are all there is! Your brain is not right!" The spiritworld is beyond conventional perception.

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y Yeah, close to 3000 year old philosophy is the thing, eh? Today we have science, trillions of times more than they had in Plato's days, so childish day-dreaming is long gone from philosophy and science. And that's the best that has happened to humanity, our science. Science will give us better, longer, eventually more or less "eternal lives",whilst religion/superstition still will have nothing but ancient b.s to offer and will eventually disappear. Hail science, ditch faith!

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y If your "spirit world" is so beyond perception...

...how is it that YOU can be so sure that it exists? Shouldn't you be just as ignorant of it as the rest of us?

And why is it that, with each new scientific insight into the body and the mind, spirits and souls slip a little more into the realm of superstition than reality?

  • @winterstellar prove it that souls do not exist

  • @winterstellar Actually the cutting edge of science is now considering that they may be some kind of transition of conscious energy after death, our consciousness is energy after all, and as we all should know, energy is infinite and cannot be destroyed, just transfered to another state.

  • @StarCraftRaver

or if you studied physics in university, you may know that energy can also dissipate on its own after a certain amount of time... sorry if i used the wrong vocab, i'm not english

  • @therealsan Never heard of that, but will be sure to look into it.

  • @winterstellar I just see the soul as the being the true nature of a person, it is just a poetic way of talking about your conscience. In a spiritual sense I don't think you should judge people its all to do with personal experience. Also you can't argue that anything does not exist because theoretically anything could somewhere in the universe.

  • @winterstellar Hahaha. You say that as if it were proven (other than the heart part). The brain remains the most misunderstood part of human anatomy, let alone whether conciousness is a direct result of its functioning or not. I'm not saying its not possible. But I don't see how you can make these claims when the top scientists in the world can't even begin to scratch the surface on this topic.

  • Why would you ask HIM that? What does he know? Hes clearly an ignorant on the subject. And he's happy with that. Just as most christians out there. They're happy to not know anything. They're happy believing theyre going to a magic place for all eternity and live happily ever after. Ignorance is bliss
