i think that recent pokemon games are over sweetened, people's heads cover their bodies, and the music is too sweet too. Not that they are bad, i still like em. The aesthetics have changed, in my opinion, for bad. The semi-recent games that in my opinion took the "good way" were xd and colosseum. Apart from that, this game is great, the pokemon are too, and im gonna get it since the original game boy ones stop saving after a while

but the original g-s-c had it too, and sadly they've made an darn lot of legendaries since generation 3, i mean, in sinnoh we don't have one fairy (mew-celeby-jirachi) but one official one (shaymin) one water blob (manaphy) and water blob jr, (phione).But don't get me wrong, pokemon are still in my priority list in videogames, and i like the anime and tcg as well. I liked the old time capsule to trade with old games, much better than the weird dual slot system they use now

@erizo908 Yeah, that is quite sad, when one can't make them return to hoenn. All the advance games went so empty when I migrated my pkmn to Pearl. You are totally right with that fairy stuff; breedable legendaries should only be stuff one can dream of(I still remember myself trying to breed forth a mew from a mewtwo and alakazam at the day-care in pokemon gold). I also agree with you in your first comment about colosseum and xd. Very good story(but purifying 48 shadow pokemon took some time).

oh, poor dear ole buddy, they do, cuz they're power is SRAM, which means that they use batteries to keep their data recorded...happens with al snes, nes, gameboy/colo and some gba games that have save feature

pkmn gold/s/c dies quick cuz its clock eats the power of the battery quickly, u r lucky if yours still saves......

search in youtube how 2 replace a gameboy game battery ....WARNING: when u do it, your file is lost

perhaps, well, mostly in the childish part, it's back to a neutral point of view that's great, pretty much like ole gold and red, and they included black people which is also cool.....uh, the only bad thing is that, they made too many pkmn, and u can't get the old ones until the very end, which means they're basically outta your team unless u got lots o spare time. ..and some of the worst EVER pkmn r in it, like the big garbage pile, the armored warrior thingies, n' the legendary pony

I still have and enjoy the original silver and gold version over the remakes and conserning the battery save issue, it's an easy fix you can find plenty of totorials showing you how to swap em and they work as new ;)
