I find this very sad. Fela Kuti was a profit and a true artist. His music came from the heart, this show has nothing to do with the man. No, I haven't seen the show, but from what I have seen I would rather spend my time looking up Youtube footage of the real thing. However I did see the real thing in the shrine (1978) and it blew me away.

This Actor would have been tutored properly in the speaking of the Anglo-Afro general language popularly refereed to as Pidgin English.....What is (Welcome na the shrine?)..Instead Welcome,This na the Shrine) all the same he tried and kudos to those who put this together to honor Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Kalakuta forever and Abami Eda lives on.
Fela was a musical prophet. What he foretell yesterday are all happening now worldwide especially in Africa and Nigeria in particular. His music was based on the truth without fear or favour.
I found an artist named Fela Kuti somewhere. I watched this commercial because the music really appelaed to me. But I couldn't help but draw a connection there. Does anybody know if Kuti is part of this?
YEAH YEAH!

@tootsie400 its about Fela Kuti. His music, his life. Fela himself, sadly, is no longer with us.
