@Celeste2054 It's not really disco. It's straddling a fine line between disco and funk. To call it one or the other is, IMHO, incorrect. It is a true 70s dance music classic. Disco songs have tended to fade: this one endures.  It is a truly unique song that stands the test of time, and sounds just as fresh today as it did in the 70s.

Who said disco would never last? This song was recorded six years before I was born and I still love it. The best use of this song was in Paris is Burning a documentary about drag queens in NYC that was shot between 1987-90. No wonder this song became a gay anthem.
