I'm from northern ireland so obviously on the side of the Delorean. For starters James Bond never drove a Delorean so that couldn't be more wrong. The Beetle in my experiance isn't actually that great and definately fails in the looks department. However for those who think Delorean's were reliable, they weren't. they had a Renault engine now Renault are french and the french couldn't build a lego house never mind an engine.

It had usually a 1200cc engine, while a big car had, at the most, a 2000cc, 1500 was big, and there were losts of cars with less than 1000. This was probably made when the Delorean was new. They did have problems due to money issues and a inexperienced production line. Now you can own one from DMC TX that's been updated with improved parts and have lot less issues. Nothing against the Beetle. It was one of the best economy cars made and a lot better than the new one in terms of reliability. When you update a Delorean and maintain it properly they're actually pretty reliable.

mmmm el DeLorean, tiene una linea demasiado atractiva, pero en realidad era un coche, lento, poco confiable y excesivamente caro, por tal motivo en su epoca casi no obtuvo ventas y se fue a la quiebra, aparte estaba armado con piezas de otros autos ya existentes, DeLorean = muy buena idea pero mala realización

Hahaha! That's great! One of my good friends, when I lived in California, chose to buy a 1982 Delorean as his 'old car' to keep... I ended up buying a 1974 VW Beetle. His car was always on blocks and needed repair. He eventually sold it. I still have and drive my Beetle today. VERY, VERY funny. Seems as if that was aimed at my friend and I. :)
