Two of my friends' families own wineries- Wilson Creek and Vindemia. But you honestly make Temecula sound cooler than it is! I live there, and it's seriously boring. Haha :)
Too hard to pick just one favorite winery. So many different things to like about a winery and so much of the experience depends on the tasting room host.
@CaliforniaTravelTips well, the best freetyle motocross riders live there... brian deegan, nate adams, robbie maddison (look him up in youtube, he is noots), blake williams and maany moree!
I am a wine-drinker who has lived in Temecula more than 20 years. The wines here are 3'rd rate at best. Life in Temecula has very little to do with the wineries.
Great videos, but I recommend allowing the subtitles showing information about the locations you visit to remain for a bit longer. They disappear rapidly before you can record the information.
I love that you give information out about So Cal!
Thanks! Temecula is such a great weekend destination getaway, whether you go as a couple or with friends. We took my friend Michele there for her bachelorette weekend and had a great time!
Wow, I liked this video! At each winery, your glass was always empty. I'm surprised you were able to stand up in the wine vat at the end. I would've been passed out. I can see how one could easily spend a day cruising these wineries! I've got to go to that one and stomp some grapes. What fun!
Thanks! When visiting wine country, you definitely need to pace yourself throughout the day. I was sampling only a splash each time, but I have to admit that I drank the whole glass of wine lager. It was delicious!
I think you would love the grape stomp! Between September and October, Callaway, Mount Palomar, Ponte and South Coast Winery Resort have stomps. The dates change each year, so the best tip is to check their Web sites. Bring the gang and go with us next year — we'd have a blast!
It's a great place to get away from all the mess in Vegas! Love Bel Vino, Thornton, Wilson Creek and the new, Lorimar.
