Metallica didn't sell out. They just tried to play with different syles of music and despite what some "metalheads" like to say, Cliff Burton would have liked it. They do kick ass and you "metalheads" should just try and be more open-minded. Metal is awesome, Thrash is the best, but they can still thrash as good as they did and also play ballads. If you want only extreme metal, listen only to black and death [which I love too, but that doesen't make me hate Metallica now.
