just read the second book today and aside from a few interesting moments, I hope to Christ the show goes in a different direction. From what I gather, if the the show stays faithful to the novels Eric will be the main character next to Sookie - It works in the books but I believe most of us will miss Bill - Not that the actor that plays Eric is bad - he's very good - the shift just doesn't seem appropriate.

I won't miss Bill at at, haha...Once I started reading the books, I just wasn't into Bill anymore. If only he would just quit stalking her already. Bill gets creepier every time he comes back into the sotryline...He needs to let go already...
