  • fucking cops talking about him like prey, dramatic music, heroic cops, my ass, homoophobic gun totting, self-righteous dickweeds. life in prison!!!!! why isn't ex-governor George W. Bush in jail. He's the biggest sociopath and conman alive!! he lied to an entire nation and had tens of thousands of iraqis killed for no reason, gave the US a laughable and dispicable rep. worldwide, not to mention the american soldiers that died for the interest big business had in middle eastern resources.

  • "She explained to me about the special need parole as about the terminally ill factor and all that and i said no way... this is not... something's not ri... this is no." The cop is a genius, doesn't he? 7:50

  • Obsessed? He was simply in love with Phillip.

  • The prosecutor was just angry because she paid for college and law school and she still wasn't smarter than Russell. He spat in the systems face and will probably escape again. Also, it would be interesting to see if the company he stole money from actually made money while he was there even subtracting the amount Russell took?

  • I hate that prosecutor lady for some reason.

  • Interesting how he's obbsessed with the guy...not in love.

  • @girasol911zoom He is in love with Phillip Morris. He's been interviewed while in prison because of the movie. He talked about Phillip Morris during the interview. This documentary keeps saying he's obsessed with Morris... and maybe he is. Obsessed AND in love.

  • Have you seen the Jim Carrey film of this? :)

It is a great love story :) This ignorant documentry makes him sound like a serial killer ...

  • @TVCoolStuff The film takes a more touching side to his story.. I would like to know how the book portrays him..

But, this documentary is making him sound like a freak and he's just escaping for the sake of it..

And, also saying he's obsessed.. But, I suppose back in that time, they would have called it obsession and not love because of the ignorance.. Even now, really..

  • Investigation Discovery just covered this guy on I (Almost) Got Away with It.

  • You can get way less time for killing someone, bunch of dumbass hot heads in texas.

  • they should make him repay the money...hes smart enough...

  • faxed? no email attachments allowed?

  • they caught him, yes, but secretly, they want to be him

  • hes my freakin' hero, man

  • Moral of the story kids: do your homework

  • but maybe this happens all the time with lots of other cons, just Steven was one of the ones who were caught

  • Whatever happened to "if he did it for money, you cant arrest him. People who want money are the greatest americans of all" well, he doesnt run a company or have friends that do. I guess its wrong then....

  • For him to get a life sentence is absolutely insane! A Miscarriage of justice, he didn't kill anyone!

  • he's very intelligent but he's still a con artist that stole thousands of dollars from others..... he does deserve beeing in jail....

just bc hes really smart doesnt mean he doesnt deserve wat he got......

  • maybe he'll break out of the prison he's in now lol ... that would be justice :D

  • Frank Abagnale Junior got a position on the FBI for what he did and this poor guy gets put in prison for the rest of his life.... that's fair....

  • Hes either a genius or everyone in Texas is just dirt stupid

  • Either they are more than reasonably stupid or he is more than reasonably smart idd say

  • that bald guy pisses me off.

  • fuckin texas

  • The government, banks, corporations and secret societies are the ones that are really corrupt.

  • hes gonna be released from prinson in 2146....not too long from now u think?

  • "Reasonably intelligent person" That woman is stupid; the man is a genius. He has an IQ of over 160!

  • Give him a lot of money and hire him for the FBI, Steve knows how to catch bad guys cuz he is the best at getting away.

  • Steven Russell+Kevin Mitnick=end of the world.

  • He just should've played dead and stayed that way if he wanted to stay free. His only problem was that he didn't know when to quit. He's like a rock star that wont accept being old and over it.

  • @subsamadhi No, i believed that he wanted to get back into the game to save his lover...a man would do anything for love

  • Cobb didn't find traces of a white powder in his Russell's old cell! Russell had been out of that cell for weeks (in Texas no cell stays empty for more than a day)and any new self-respecting inmate would have cleaned that cell from top to bottom upon moving in.

Cobb is trying to give himself credit where none is due!

  • I love how in the reenactment the actor playing the malnourished and severely underweight Russell looks fit as a fiddle aside from the sallow complexion. When they cut to the shot of him shirtless on the bed looking at this records, the upper body looks so well developed that it could pass for a triathlete

  • If Steven Russel is a "reasonably intelligent person" then she must be a reasonably retarded woman.

  • terry cobbs is no where near the level of Steve.. I bet Steve didn't care at all and that is why he always got caught

  • just give him a bunch of money and phillip morris

  • IQ of everybody involved in catching Russel ADDED (accumulative) = 100.

    IQ of Russel = 163.

  • @Dementedrox Exactly!. He's non violent and he committed ethical and financial crimes. He poses no physical danger to anyone. Nevertheless, he's now serving144 yr sentence and spends 23 hours each day in total isolation. Child murderers get less. He's serving the bruised egos of the judges, doctors, lawyers and FBI agents he embarrassed. Not the state. An intellectual genius is defined as a person with an IQ above 160. Einstein's IQ was only 5 points higher. Such a waste

  • these cops got lucky, end of story.

Funny how they think they outsmarted him.

  • why didn't the people in Houston said anything when Steven came unannounced because they actually never called him

  • The petition states that Steven isn't a violent person and the sentence of 100+ years in a maximum security jail looks more like an act of rage than real justice.

  • reasonably intelligent person? sure.

  • This man should run for president of the U.S.

  • @matatan69 - Not sure if he is dishonest enough to win.

  • @matatan69 - Not sure if he is dishonest enough to win.

  • @matatan69 so he can rob us blind like Obama? Shut the fuck up.

  • @homescrub right because obama is robbing us, shut up you idiot

  • @matatan69 Hell yeah.. his IQ is way HIGH!!!! relative to Bush or Obama.. hahaha

  • @matatan69 Hell yeah... Or at least treasury secretary
