Hillel first solo is strange (in a good way). A true and original psychedelic rock masterpiece like a trip on mescalin.
The second one is really jaw droppin' too...I mean when we say that a guitarist has a unique style of playing we can't always prove our statement but here this is the case.
Hillel solo are among my favourite with zappa, hendrix and...well you know what I mean.
Eu acho mutio legal ver atuaçoes dos Peppers em palco, principalmente com a formação original, pois a banda tem uma energia que contagia qualquer pessoa' RHCP I'M WITH YOU'
Jack's drumming made this song what it is. He's an amazing drummer and I am forever thankful for his inspiration to me. If not for him I'd never have become a drummer.
@Depletethestate acctually let me correct myself, Jack Irons was already in a band, but was almost in the band in 1990. in 1994 he officially joined and up to 1998 he was their drummer. the reason he left was still effects from Hillel Slovak's death and Matt Cameron played 4 the first time on the yield tour 98'
oh man ~ Uplift Mofo Plan era RHCP!!!! too bad they couldn't have Tree on here to add that nasty tenor.... i think this and Green Haven are my favourites from their Eponymous release.... but wow, Jack and Hillel:( i hate to say it, but i wonder how much longer Hillel was alive after this show.... H.S. R.I.P.
yeah, he did record a decent amount with a spector for that, as you can see in funky monks, but then after that it was all musicmans till the fleabass from modulus came out
at least you caught on bro.!...thats what counts!!..S.A. was an amazing album (cant wait for the next) but please continue to check out their old stuff..may i recomend "mothers milk"....RHCP FOREVER!!- UNTIL INFINITY ENDS!!!!!!! (then a little longer!)..
in the rhcp evolution of music, they have moved slowly from funk/funk metal slowly to alternative and soft rock, most prevalent in an album like by the way. don't get me wrong, it has a few good tracks, but btw was when flea was having trouble coping with the new style of frusciante music writing, but as you can see in some of the songs in stadium arcadium, rhcp are venturing back to cleaner and simpler funk based guitar licks with slap bass, like i'll be your domino, there's still hope
i could not agree more! how quiet did flea get hey... dude fuken spot on. i jump up an down everyday only thinking wat the new material wil be like. one thing id like to see is john to stop experimenting with all the effects an layerd guitars.... wat do you rekon?
i dunno cos that shit is pretty cool, but i wanna see em do somthing like BSSM again....obviously it would be different, but just to have that BSSM quality to it...
his chops are really good, but he focuses to much on addind too many effects that he strays away from a catchy tune. If RHCP goes back and listens to some of their old influences, they'll pop out another platinum album because it's good, like BloodSugar or some of their earlier Hillel stuff with more john soul, and not because of their popularity on MTV
had fruciante never entered the fold then they would have probably never became one the biggest mainstream groups in the world. they needed john fruciante in order to make that leap that progression.
thats probly true, but i think it woulda been interestin to see them stay funky and have the same intensity even if they retired at like 40 that would be pretty cool.also, in my small town only three people that i know of really appreciate the chilis for everythin, and not many know songs other than snow and dani california unfortunatly.and that three is me, my brother, and one person in the grade between us so kinda hagard
Had Frusciante not rejoined the band they would of stopped the band. Flea said he was going to quit and Anthony asked how he could get him to stay and Flea said the only way he would continue is if Frusciante rejoined the band. But i do love there older super funk stuff
Yeah that was after navaro. Though i enjoyed his work he just didn't click with the rest of the band. Frusciante is still my favorite of all of their guitarists
Some tracks on mother's milk were already written when hillel died. The reason mother's milk became so much more popular then their previous albums was the fact that is was more produced and the producer made punk songs of their funky shit. And you know punk rock was very popular in the end of the 80. And that's why.
yeah it became really hard/more commercial in some cases.before they would say how they were to hard for black radio and too funky for white radio but beinhorn made it more accessible the second time round
he was addicted to heroin, thats mental. he wasn't too weak to stand or play music, he didn't have abscesses all over his arms, his skin wasn't green - those are the kinds of physical symptoms if your a heroin addict.
Que quieres que te diga los prefiero ahora, en este vídeo se nota el deterior amiento por las drogas, hay un hantes y un despues con la llegada de Blood Sugar Sex Magic.
oohhh noooo.... here we go again... thousands of people start arguing again about what kind of bass flea is using, piano brands an names of suspects in the "how killed kennedy" case come along and at the end the poster of this vid gets sick and tired and disables everyone to react on this vid...
so please everyone, just act like you dont know ho flea is and what a bass is, so you dont fuck it up.
