Figures. I had a feeling he would threaten Ness with certain words to persuade him to help. I thought that line was all improvised. I was just wondering, since I've noticed on most of the Earthbound walkthrouhs, no one says "no" to Pokey, so I had no clue what he'll say to Ness after that. I never played the game before either, but I am familiar with Ness from the Super Smash Bros. series.

Yeah, I put that line in to give Pokey a sinister side early on, sort of foreshadowing what happens later in the story.

It's always fun to pick the wrong option in games when there's really no choice, just to see how the game responds. :)

It all makes sense now. The line on your movie and the game was used to hint that Pokey doesen't actually view Ness as a friend. Anyway, I can't wait for episode 2! from what I've seen on the trailer, Carpainter looks awesome! And very similar to Carpainter on Ubseymovies Earthbound!
