Anyways, I've experienced a small slice of actual freedom in this life, I spent 3 months in Thailand with no job and no responsibilities, just exploring and romance. I ended up meeting my wife there.

i usually love these videos... but this one, i totally don't get.

i'm 46 now and i loved school. public school. it was fun. sometimes it was mind-numbing but usually it was fun and sometimes stimulating.

and i grew up Mormon and yes, going to church was often times boring but became stimulating and interesting as i grew.

i agree with this guy re: anti-gov stuff, but this stuff is confusing. it feels like flattery and strength through being lazy/slothful.

I was pointing out the underlying mechanism that put him in the school, regardless of his personal experience. That mechanism is violence and when people say "I LIKE IT", they're overlooking and indirectly defending that violence.

People are immobilised by anxiety. This could be from a genuine rational fear of attack in the present or from an irrational anxiety triggered by memories of attack from the past that have not been resolved. Regret occurs when people choose the path of least resistance and avoid their anxieties, thereby keeping them small.

You may well be in the tiny minority in your lack of denial and hunger for truth.

My name is not to be taken seriously and it does me more harm then good. Created this account 3.5 years ago during my quasi-religious phase that lasted all of 4 months, but this name has followed me like a ball and chain.

I showed contempt not for the person but the idea of defending institutions that only exist through violence (state school) and deception (churches of all kind). I don't know him, but cries "but I LIKE IT!!" give those with guns the justification they need.
