  • Thank you so much for posting this. I learned more from this little video than I did from hours of researching online. I wish I had seen the BEFORE I ordered my plants!

  • This is about teaching you how to do some thing and she was very kind to put this on for people like me that learning, Not making fun of some one... Grow up people..Thank you so much for this Video, I have learned every thing I needed to no on how to plant my berry's.

  • Great job thx

  • jeez clear your damn throat

  • the way she talks is so annoying

  • Blueberries like a mulch. Pine straw makes a great mulch. Add about 4 inches of fresh straw a year, and leave the old straw in place so that it rots and adds organic matter and acidity to the soil. Wood chips, saw dust and spruce needles work as well. Lastly blueberries like moisture, so be sure to water periodically. The person who had their blueberry bush die right away may have allowed it to dry out. Also too much fertilizer right at planting can kill a blueberry bush as well.

  • this is 3.40 gardener , not a true 3 min ...

  • @gloup81

    Lies. 4:02 gardener.

  • She's such a hippie! Anyways, I learned a bunch here, so thank you!! I can't right now, but I REALLY would love to have a vegetable and a herbal garden one day soon.

  • my blueberry bush lasted three days. then died. I watered, fertilized and pruned it but nothing stopped it from dying so quickly. is there any way i can bring it back to life? :(

  • @dooo658 it is dead. no u cant. but before u buy one make sure it dosent have any weird spots on the leaves or a fungal affliction that could rapidly kill it. start healthy. im not sure why she didnt say it but dont prune any living growth. only prune leaves and branches that are in the proccess of dieing. let the plant tell u with growth it dosent feel like maintaining, then help it to discard. no fertalizers. at least not at first. just put the plant in a larger pot then was purchaced........

  • @327zam the plant is to young in the first 2 years so you pick off all the blooms so the plant can concentrate on growing new canes, leaves and root system producing fruit is pretty stressfull for a new plant so basicly you have to let it mature :D

  • What a great video! I was browsing for info about blueberries and came across this-----this year is my first attempt at planting some----hope it works out!

  • Great video.......you should be reading childrens books.

  • Great video! I learned a lot. thanks!

  • people...stop watchin tv and plant some strawberrys! :D

  • good video thanks

  • Why do you not allow the plant to produce for the first two years?

  • @327zam They need that time to put energy into the roots instead of the fruits so they will not get stunted.

  • NICE VOICE!!!!

  • she sounds like she choking on blueberries lol

  • @LetsCook2gether I'm sure you can google "blueberry plants Europe" or something similar. I have seen blueberry seeds for sale on Ebay for very little money. Some of them might ship to Europe for a little more money to cover shipping.
