Many thanks for posting this konekoxox! This tune is always awesome live! T-Bone you left us far too soon, Rest In Peace Brother, see you in heaven. At the end of this song you can hear the beginning of, ♪ "Easy, ready, willing, over time, where does it stop, where do you dare me to draw the line, you got the body, now you want my soul, don't even think about it, say 'No Go!'..."♪
I think what I've always admired about Daryl Hall and John Ootes is thier realness and commitment to developing the God given talents they have to the best of their ability..they have always come across on stage and on record as guys busting thier tail to entertain you and get their message across the best way they know how.
@naumutroi 2 of the best live performers I've ever seen. Anyone who wants to know what it takes to make a great live performance needs watch these guys.
I remember back in the 70's they would always be called "Blue Eyed Soul" by people on radio. Love myself some Hall & Oates!! Always loved Daryl Hall's soulful voice (and his beautiful blond hair too) LOL. Love this LIVE version of this classic, sounds VERY good live, the band is TIGHT. :-) There's a sensual quality to this live version I never noticed at all on the studio one, WOW. Guess I was too young in the 70s to notice. Just sounds GOOD period, live or on vinyl. Classic = GOOD.
You are right.... nobody even compares to Daryl vocally, he is so talented and sadly under-rated in the UK, except for us die hard fans who have been mesmerised since the '70s.... I just hope he comes back here soon, really need to see him live again.

RIP T-Bone ...you're a huge reason why I love Hall and Oates since my childhood....you were always just as important and I know Hall and Oates would agree
There are some songs from the H&O vault that I just can't seem to get enough of, this is one of those songs. It is stunningly good. Tase me with this song... tase me... I'm in need of defibrillation anyways.
Another superb performance during this fabulous 1995 concert in Tokyo. The verse melody is just awesome (0:38 or 1:51). On the flip side, I always found the "you can change" break in 2:06 odd.
I am writing a screenplay set in the 70s, and Hall & Oates will be used, esp. this song!!! I had better start now on getting the rights to use it!! This song is just too perfect!!!
I'm no music expert here, but these guys kick ANYBODY'S *** musically nowadays! Race isn't nearly as important as soul, and H&O have lots of it! They're keeping the true legacy of soul alive. THX 4 POSTING!!!!
