  • omg I just LOOOOOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

  • Daryl Hall and John Oates, you're my soul and heart's inspiration, I can do it . . . . . . .

  • Many thanks for posting this konekoxox! This tune is always awesome live! T-Bone you left us far too soon, Rest In Peace Brother, see you in heaven. At the end of this song you can hear the beginning of, ♪ "Easy, ready, willing, over time, where does it stop, where do you dare me to draw the line, you got the body, now you want my soul, don't even think about it, say 'No Go!'..."♪

  • Those who disliked this; I don't get it, but we're all entitled to our own opinions.

  • So sexy the way you flip your hair Daryl...

  • Daryl Hall exudes sexy...He and John are absolutely amazing to see live...this song has to be one of the most soulful!!

  • @TrishBell1 So true! Some of the best performers I've ever seen.

  • They are amazing as always!!!Cheryl from Delaware:) Love Them!!!:)

  • This is perfection.

  • Very emotional, very beautiful hair!!!

  • If you saw a concert in the 70's this was always the show stopper and John would just let Daryl take it away. Unforgettable.

  • A message to myself..........and to you......

  • It is woderfull that these guys get even better as they grow older!!!!!!!!!

WE are going to have the honor to see them live July 3 at the Hollywood Bowl, Don't miss them.

  • I had never heard this song before I bought their compilation cd. And now this is one of my faves, not to mention my anthem.

  • Superlative.

  • Daryl Hall, nothing but great! Awesome all the way!

  • One of my favorite H&O songs. And T-Bone and Charlie are rippin' it up.

  • I think what I've always admired about Daryl Hall and John Ootes is thier realness and commitment to developing the God given talents they have to the best of their ability..they have always come across on stage and on record as guys busting thier tail to entertain you and get their message across the best way they know how.

  • @naumutroi 2 of the best live performers I've ever seen. Anyone who wants to know what it takes to make a great live performance needs watch these guys.

  • Daryl and John are my boys.

  • 2:20 lol

  • Just great! This is propably the most smooth song I've ever heard!

  • WOW that's all I can say ! Sit back & chill & really take this song in .

  • I remember back in the 70's they would always be called "Blue Eyed Soul" by people on radio. Love myself some Hall & Oates!! Always loved Daryl Hall's soulful voice (and his beautiful blond hair too) LOL. Love this LIVE version of this classic, sounds VERY good live, the band is TIGHT. :-) There's a sensual quality to this live version I never noticed at all on the studio one, WOW. Guess I was too young in the 70s to notice. Just sounds GOOD period, live or on vinyl. Classic = GOOD.

  • Check out Maxwell, Eric Benet, Raphael Saadiq, and Omar Lye Fook dereka79. They are WAAAAAYYYY beyond Daryl!

  • @POSI2

no one is better than daryl!

    wake up, dude!

  • @POSI2 Your comment reminds me of a Hall and Oates tune on the "Marigold Sky" album, what's it called...now I remember, "I Don't Think So."

  • @POSI2 u smoke too much crack donkey

  • LAWD have mercy--I need to go take a cold shower now...excuse me...

  • OMG !!!.... this song still makes me want to do things to someone special... so yummy and sexy!

  • Beautiful! Just absolutely beautiful!!!

  • Simply AMAZING soul....Timeless, D.

    - Jeff Emmerson (Google Me)

  • Do what you want,

    Be what you are,

There aint no right or wrong way,

It's just a play from the hart ...

  • I will always be totally in love with Daryl Hall.

  • @professormom108 Yeah, me too!!!! I still think he is the most beautiful man on this planet!

  • I love Hall and Oates .This is my favorite song by far. I would love if they would come to akron/Cleveland Ohio ...Daryl is Gorgeous !!!!

  • t.bone was the man for hall and oates

  • You are right.... nobody even compares to Daryl vocally, he is so talented and sadly under-rated in the UK, except for us die hard fans who have been mesmerised since the '70s.... I just hope he comes back here soon, really need to see him live again.

  • Hall never did fully recover from his illnesses. He can't do those high notes anymore. I can't either.

  • i cant believe T-Bone is gone, his basslines defined some of H&Os biggest hits.

  • @01tnql absolutely right!

  • FYI

Tom 'T-Bone' Wolk died of a Heart attack on Sun. Feb. 28, 2010. in LA

  • @grover12able I saw Hall and Oates recently in Minneapolis and I was so sad taht T-Bone wasn't there.

  • RIP T-Bone ...you're a huge reason why I love Hall and Oates since my childhood....you were always just as important and I know Hall and Oates would agree

Thank You for sharing your gifts with the world

  • Ah, Daryl.. tu es trop génial !!!

  • wow, he looks gorgeous

  • My favorite H&O song hands down!!!

  • This song rocks! It's a hall of fame entry for sure. They put on such a great show.

  • Wow he looks the same now, 15 yrs later.

He ages very well, and still sings fantastic.!!!

  • IMHO their best song and most definitely my favorite!

  • There are some songs from the H&O vault that I just can't seem to get enough of, this is one of those songs. It is stunningly good. Tase me with this song... tase me... I'm in need of defibrillation anyways.

  • a great song from a great group and very hard to find ty !

  • Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Vintage Hall and Oates, baby! This is tasty!!!! Five stars!

  • Another superb performance during this fabulous 1995 concert in Tokyo. The verse melody is just awesome (0:38 or 1:51). On the flip side, I always found the "you can change" break in 2:06 odd.

  • Dang, this is an awesome version.

  • One of the rare songs that sounds almost better live. Off the hook!!

  • The people that induct for R&R Hall of Fame must have brain damge. These guys are superior to soooo many.

  • I am writing a screenplay set in the 70s, and Hall & Oates will be used, esp. this song!!! I had better start now on getting the rights to use it!! This song is just too perfect!!!

  • THE BEST !!! just perfect!

  • love ya daryll

  • love this one soo much..love you Daryll

  • One of my favorite H & O songs. Their music has been the the soundtrack to my life. Great live performers!

  • Very heartfelt sentiments - many times I wish I had been strong enough to move on but gave up and stayed ! Daryl is so cool and yet soooo hot !!!

  • Hall and Oates: First class all the way...

  • it pains me that t- bone never learned the signature riffs of this song

christopher bond (their producer and guitarist) was the 3d member of hall and oates and he gets ZERO credit...

  • ...Just a play from the heart Lt ain´t a sign of weakness to give yourself away

Because the strong give up and move on,

While the weak give up and stay...

Que Bluesazo de Hall & Oates, no me canso de escucharlo over an over.

Dificil otro duo tan bacano como este en mucho tiempo

  • next at AC .....Bogota

  • This version gives me chills!!

  • A classic Hall and Oates song that sounds as good as it did 30 years ago you are the best guys..................

  • t-bone can play the strings of an old pair of sneakers if he had to. he's the best. charley de Chant is about as smooth as it gets.

  • the "sneakers" comment one of the best ever in you tube. thumbs up.

  • when did t-bone start playing guitar?

  • Probably my all-time favorite H&O tune, kick-ass blues jam, with a great message!

  • Great song!!!

  • So smooth - my all time favourite artist and one of the ever best singers!!

  • I love this song I feel like they wrote it for me

  • The epitome of soul! Daryl sings from his soul which is neither white or black! He is unequivocally a music genius! Rock on forever, Daryl!

  • This is a sensational composition and performance. BRAVO! xoxo ;)

  • great song-only Daryl could do this so nice-very cool!

  • sung like only daryl can sing it.....his voice is still unbelivable....if you see them do Me and Mrs. Jones it's always the highlight of the night.

  • Great Song!!!Another hidden gem.

  • oldies but goodies...

  • I have been listening to Daryl and John for 35years and they only get better like this song a classic

  • Daryl only gets better with age. this is really, really HOT!!

    beautiful!!!!

  • They are like wine....esta version es simplemente fabulosa!!!

  • WOW.. this is what real music sounds like....

    l

  • Still the best. No one does it better. Great song, great soul.

  • I love these guy's so much!!

  • They should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  • I'm no music expert here, but these guys kick ANYBODY'S *** musically nowadays! Race isn't nearly as important as soul, and H&O have lots of it! They're keeping the true legacy of soul alive. THX 4 POSTING!!!!

  • 5/5, favored, and one of the best live tracks in HnO history!!

  • Man, remember when this was the scene stealer

at their concerts in the 70's?

  • But really? What male singer, white or black, today can sing with as much soul and conviction as Daryl Hall? Uh ... nobody!

  • @dereka79 - to be quite honest, there isn't one .......

  • You have to check out Daryl Hall video :Someone Like You: from Three hearts in the Happy ending machine. It is such such a good video.......

  • My favorite song from the Bigger Than Both of Us album. They performed this when I saw them in the mid-80's. It was excellent!
