good ground will suit him very well i cant see him being beat and it would be nice to see noel mead getting a good winner, punjabi could be a big danger because he has had bad ground all year and he wants it good its going to be some race thats all i know slowhit as aswell
as always when a over priced good horse wins a race like this he never gets enought praise , they all just say , dissapointing run from the fav and 2nd fav oh and 3rd fav, get over it, the horse is very good he won at cheltenham the bookies under estimated him, and they done it last week with deep purple the horse won another big prise 40 days before his latest race and he was 12-1.....value to be had when yas look at the form,
i actually think he barely gets a fast run 2 mile championship race.. look how he finished in the supreme and today at kempton.. emptied on the run in .. both fast run races.. compared to the fighting 5th which in effect was like a 1m6 f hurdle event!! he will go close at cheltenham, tho carberry will have to hold on to him harchibald style and put his head in front on the line imo.. no better man for the job though!!
ill be devastated if he wins the champ, cos i should be on at 200/1 ive been screamin for over a year hes the new harchibald, but better. when i saw him empty against voler la vadette i went rite off the horse and i just cant back him now. my m8s slagged me saying i love bridle horses, i should have just stuck with the horse, hes my fuckin horse man. if its soft at cheltenham hes no chance, i think he just wont let himself down on soft, hell be on the bridle cummin over the last. fuckin mugs gem
altho the horse has dun me a few turns at good prices, i missed 50/1 antepost for the supreme because noel meade said about 3 times hes not going to cheltenham, and now 25s here, but how could you seriously back the horse to beat binocular and solwhit? And to add it was my breeders cup money i dun on go native when he couldnt beat that colm murphy mare, who was backed like a cert, mysteriously Ruby on luska lad i hink tries to box go native in and barge him up against the rail, Hink Ruby was on?
fuckin unreal, i emptied myself on go native to beat an improving handicapper, voler la vadette, at a short price, and he found nothing, ive followed him since i seen him early in his novice career travelling like zafonic and hit the front only for a horse he walked past to get back up and beat him. it turned out he was lame and after that the only novice in ireland who could get him off the bridle was hurricane fly. ive always said theres a top race in him on good ground easy 2 miles. missed it
Go Native finds zero off the bridle and Binocular wipes the floor with him.

I believe that was Graham Goode's last commentary. Emma Spencer was the Channel 4 Racing presenter up there in Newcastle I can recall.
