If Michael would have had it his way, he would have always sang live. He had a lot of throat problems on this tour and you can hear that in the few songs that he did sing live, like his Jackson 5 medley for example. Even when MJ didn't feel well, he gave us110%.
Just watch him dance and look at the way he continuously runs back and forth on that stage. He was 39 and he still had the energy and stamina of a 20 year old man.

yh he is lip synching, he lip synches through the whole history tour, BUT, all his other concerts where never lip synched FACT, and he only lip synched in history because he's getting older and it's impossible for a man of his age to sing and dance for hours apon end and dance at the same time FACT. plus he's better without lip synching if you see the bad and dangerous tour, he pwned his own songs, FACT.
I think in some HIStory concerts he was not feeling well and had to lip sync. I have seen his other concert clips from HIStory tour where he sang the songs live and w/o any problems. You should also check out his rehearsals. He sounds better than many recording artists of today!
yh some he didn't like wanna be startin something and another 1 but wanna be startin something flopped because he had a chest infection, thats why he lip sync'd the rest of the tour and said abit at the end of everysong because he didn't wanna damage his voice, it's understandable.
It's the YouTube audio that makes it sounds like lip sync. Check the other youtube MJ concerts which some producers posted here in good quality and you'll find out what I mean. I believe MJ doesn't do the lip sync in any of his performances. He won't compromise it. He would religiously rehearse "LIVE" in all his concerts & awards shows just to give the fans and viewers a good show/performance. Why would he ever bothered to rehearse (in each concert & any awards nights) if he would just do the lip sync then? CHECK OUT ALL HIS REHEARSALS ON YOUTUBE AND FIND OUT FOR YOUR SAKE. Lip sync won't satisfy Michael as an artist and as a great performer. He won't definitely do it!
It really annoys me, all the people making stupid comments on Youtube about the history tour when they haven't even been to any of the shows or seen any of the concerts in high quality on dvd or tv. They just make a judgment from watching the crappy quality uploads on youtube, which sound very different because they are all compressed, mushy audio.

He is the only one who CAN dance and sing at the same time, for its nearly impossible and there were days when he was not that fit, then he used the playback. But some parts are done by the backgroundsingers.

If Michael would have had it his way, he would have always sang live. He had a lot of throat problems on this tour and you can hear that in the few songs that he did sing live, like his Jackson 5 medley for example. Even when MJ didn't feel well, he gave us110%.
Just watch him dance and look at the way he continuously runs back and forth on that stage. He was 39 and he still had the energy and stamina of a 20 year old man.

yh he is lip synching, he lip synches through the whole history tour, BUT, all his other concerts where never lip synched FACT, and he only lip synched in history because he's getting older and it's impossible for a man of his age to sing and dance for hours apon end and dance at the same time FACT. plus he's better without lip synching if you see the bad and dangerous tour, he pwned his own songs, FACT.

I think in some HIStory concerts he was not feeling well and had to lip sync. I have seen his other concert clips from HIStory tour where he sang the songs live and w/o any problems. You should also check out his rehearsals. He sounds better than many recording artists of today!

It's the YouTube audio that makes it sounds like lip sync. Check the other youtube MJ concerts which some producers posted here in good quality and you'll find out what I mean. Who do you think he's kidding or cheating at? Himself right? MJ WON'T CHEAT HIMSELF, more so his fans and the audience - he won't allow it. I believe MJ doesn't do the lip sync in any of his performances. He won't compromise it. He would religiously rehearse "LIVE" in all his concerts & awards shows just to give the fans and viewers a good show/performance. Why would he ever bothered to rehearse (in each concert & any awards nights) if he would just do the lip sync then? CHECK OUT ALL HIS REHEARSALS ON YOUTUBE AND FIND OUT FOR YOUR SAKE. Lip sync won't satisfy Michael as an artist and as a great performer. He won't definitely do it!

It really annoys me, all the people making stupid comments on Youtube about the history tour when they haven't even been to any of the shows or seen any of the concerts in high quality on dvd or tv.
