You are Viet, you live in Vietnam. You ride to town on a water buffalo, once a week. You go to the dentist once a decade. You dream of buying an an electric rice steamer. But, of course, you are "American"...LMFAO
And let me just get this stright... Even if I am not an Ameircan, is ok for America to meddle with other people's politic but not ok for other to messed with yours? and what kind of closed minded person would automactly assume that an Asian is not an American when he speak out for something he belived in? People like you said how America is the greatest country in the world, and talk beautifully about Freedom and Democracy but you don't know the first thing about it.
Look, li'l know-it-all, you are lecturing people about things you obviously don't even understand. And your spelling is horrible. And your page is covered with Asian videos. So you are a liar.
Second, you don't have ANY business telling Americans who to vote for, or how to think. You obviously have a hard enough time doing that for yourself, confused leftist.
The only tragedies about Roy Moore are that (a) he wasn't fragged by his own men in Viet Nam, and (b)that the state of Alabama hasn't disbarred the son of a bitch.
Well I won't feel that stupid. Because if he really existed then it took people 6000+ years to prove it. If we have truly been around to an estimate of what science says, then it would be somewhere possibly around 100,000 years given off the top of Richard Dawkins head. May not quite be the truth but let's lower it a bit 50,000 years. If everyone turned christian in the next 5 years that means christianity failed for 50,005 years. So... why exactly should I feel stupid when they were inept?
No there isn't. If you happen to have some undeniable proof that there is some being that created us and gave us perfect, I can name off about 25 atheists that would love to see this proof. So if you have this proof, you would be selfish to keep it to yourself.
Human identity can exist without a God. You can still have some form of ritualistic religion, but believing in a God is not important enough for humans to need. We can all live godless lives as we all should.
Nothing in this world is entirely good nor bad. It's the extremes that make a percieved action bad. You can kill someone if your life is in danger. Self defense is bad. Someone tries to shoot you dead, and you accidentally kill them, does not make you evil.
Some people take the "country" too far and hurt the people in order to help the "country" that's why I don't like patriotism. No good comes from loving your country, but loving it's people can do all the good in the world.
Ethnisicism is just stupid. No one should be prideful overly prideful of their variations. I refuse to say that there are different races of human beings. The differences from 1 human to another is just a variation based on habitat or environment. Hell I'm 1 part black anyway
No wrong. Patriotism is bad. You should never be overly patriotic. Being overly patriotic means that you are not willing to go against the country to protect the people. That is a bad thing to do. The people must always be treated more important than the government. People that are too patriotic view things the WRONG way. We can survive without a government. We'll just create a new one, but without the people to govern, the government is nothing.
What a Godless heathen sitting in that judges' seat. What an awful judgment it's gonna be for him when he meets God face to face at his Great White Throne.
"And then will I(God) profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Ding dong the witch is dead the witch is dead the wicked witch is dead. Roy Moore was crushed by the court houses and I wouldn't have it any other way. SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE DUMBASS.
I think you have that ass backwards. There are many countries that are prospering that do not believe in God. America has lost it's way because religion is forcing itself in as much as it possibly can. This fucking war is not an attack on American citizens. Iraq had nothing to do with any of it. It was a religious war and a war for oil.
Look at Bush. Most religious president we've probably ever had. Also, probably, the worst.
Makaisenki, we used to be a Christian nation. I think if you look at the media alone you can see that it isn't the most moral thing. And Bush isn't a Christian. He goes to bohemian grove and does mock human sacrifices to a damn stone owl. Seperation of church and state is a must. Only to the extent that the church isn't controlling the state. You don't wipe God out of everything. Then there isn't seperation of church and state. Theres just seperation, period. I'm done. Please don't reply. GG.
Why can't we wipe God out of our entire government? Every single damn thing you let a church get involved in, they will try to absorb, and corrupt. The Boyscouts is Mormon and is terrible because of it. Their existance breaks our reaking constitutional rights. They are a private organization and recieve government money.
I will reply. How is bush not a christian? Provide me with evidence. You made that claim, you must back it up. Otherwise we can just dismiss the rest of your ideas altogether!
From the Sermon on the Mount:"When you pray, don't be like those show-offs who love to stand up and pray in the meeting places and on the street corners. They do this just to look good. I can assure you that they already have their reward. When you pray, go into a room alone and close the door. Pray to your Father in private. He knows what is done in private, and he will reward you." There you have it, folks. Jesus is against "Putting faith in the public square"! Read your own book!
@teenspirit1 NO we need more around like him. Think back on John The baptist as he was a great man. People have a higher power to answer to and that is Christ. Government we have now is disgusting with Obama and his radical commies.
Our country is based upon "laws not men." Do you know what that means? It does not mean it is based upon just any law or any man's law. What it means is that it is based upon the law as is in truth. The laws of this country have from the beginning acknowledged the Supreme Judge of the World. Roy Moore was right not to submit for a second to the "law" of these men!!!!!
Ok thanks, that makes me feel better. I do work on Sundays and it's good to know I won't be in hell for it. He is my saviour. Is it ok if I kill some people I don't like now? He has taken my punishment for me right?
I don't care what you atheist think this man is a man and held his ground on what he believed even if it meant him being fired.I'm ready for my comment to get the lil dumbs down like every other christian here has got.
islamic terrorists like to hold their ground too, they're also people. so by your standard, it doesn't matter what the issue is, if you're holding your ground on what you believe, then you're automatically someone to deserve respect.
The commandment itself said that you shall not work on the sabbath, keep it holy. And that the crime was punishable by death... It was explicit. Of course that was never enforced in american law. And because of that, you cannot say that american law was based on christianity or the ten commandments (of which 8 are not represented in the law).
Whether man wants to do it is irrelevant. The point jacobins made is that if American law was based on christianity, why isn't working on the Sabbath forbidden? It should be illegal. If the law permits it, then it is NOT founded on christian values. Ditty for carven graven images, coveting, and not loving your enemy/neighbor/father/mother/etc.
You know, maybe was wrong about Moore. After all, without the guidance and favor of Almighty God, how could Alabama ever have become the haven of racial harmony and leader in education and health care that is is today?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
these supreme court justices who have come against Justice Moore have no spine. They claim to uphold the law but to me they have violated his right to Free Speech. sure the moment i post this someone will argue for the opposite. The court of the kingdom of God shall reign no matter what any fool tries to do.
"They claim to uphold the law but to me they have violated his right to Free Speech."
If I ever become a judge, I will put a statue of Thor in the courtroom, say a prayer to Thor before every case, and write about Thor in my decisions. It's part of my right to free speech to do so, isn't it? I'll also put a recipe for delicious brownies in every decision, cuz that's also my right.
good question... Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
After seeing this video and the one of Moore on Hardball I cringed at the thought that a person who rose to the level of chief justice could be so ignorant. I cringed even harder when I realized that our Commander in Chief is no different.
He has the right to believe whatever the hell he wants. He does not have the right to use his position of public authority to promote one system of faith to the exclusion of others. Last December he argued that Rep. Keith Ellison should be banned from serving in Congress because of his Muslim faith. Tell us the one about how you were "persecuted" again, Roy? His supporters called him a latter-day Daniel. I rooted for the Lions. Good riddance to monument and moron both.
Hello, Contrary to todays popular re-writing of history, this is a Christian nation founded no Christian precepts, read the Declaration of Independence and writings of our ForeFathers. Also, the Puritan's that came over on the Mayflower, etc.
The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good. Psalm 53:1
"this is a Christian nation founded no Christian precepts"
so it's a xtian country, just not one that's according to xtian law? ya, that seems to fit where the country is actually at, considering we only observe/sanction 2 of 10 commandements.
how is it a xtian country again?
keep in mind, the constitution never mention's 'jesus' but leaves it as ambiguous with 'creator', 3 times. many of the founders were deist's and not xtians.
It's interesting how johnnybdifficult2's age, 32 coincidentally the same age as "Probablyaduck's" disappeared from his page after I mentioned him and "Probablyaduck" being the SAME person.
And once again, are you that dumb that you didn't realize that when I said "commandment" I DID NOT mean it generally, but specifically the 10 from the Bible.
Okay. You're probably NEVER going to get this. So I'm just going to repeat what I said:
Are you that dumb that you didn't understand that following a response referring to "Thou shalt not kill," and "10 commandments" AND a video about the 10 commandments that you DIDN'T understand that "commandment" meant one of the 10 commandments from the BIBLE?
Are you that dumb that you didn't understand that following a response referring to "Thou shalt not kill," and "10 commandments" AND a video about the 10 commandments that you DIDN'T understand that "commandment" meant one of the 10 commandments from the BIBLE?
"logical conclusion to your statement is that we don't need laws against murder in this country"
There are many countries that are predominantly non-Christian with LAWS where it is illegal to kill someone, and they don't need the 10 Commandments out of the Bible to have those laws.
"I take it that you agree then, that our judges have caved to public concensus."
Your assumptions are unfounded, and "our judges" and "public consensus" are undefined.
No. I don't think TJ's or Ben Franklin's or Abraham Lincoln's opinions on religion are common knowledge at ALL.
"You think only atheists should be judges?" A stupid question typical of religious fundamentalists trying to change the subject. I'm sure that there are many Chrisian judges who don't try to be sneaky and edify their religion over all others in a judicial building.
"The Christian God is a being of terrific character - cruel, vindictive, capricious, and unjust" Thomas Jefferson quotes (American 3rd US President (1801-09). Author of the Declaration of Independence. 1762-1826)
"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man" Thomas Jefferson quotes (American 3rd US President (1801-09). Author of the Declaration of Independence. 1762-1826)
"Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?" --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia Q.XVIII, 1782. ME 2:227
"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man"
"The Christian God is a being of terrific character - cruel, vindictive, capricious, and unjust"
This could be slight guess. But judging from the words "MOST perverted system...EVER shone on man", I don't think Thomas Jefferson was fond of Christianity and Christian God, Yahweh.
If he had just acknowledged God, there would have been no problem. He did much more than that. He put the government in the place of the preacher, set in stone. That is just wrong, in a nation with religious liberty.
Hello, according to his book "So help me God", that was what the Federal Court case was about, the acknowledgment of God and not the display. The Federal Judge understood this and ruled against the acknowledgment of God. Thus, making the acknowledgment of God a historic artifact. Sad day that is.

So... why exactly should I feel stupid when they were inept?
makaisenki 3 years ago
No there isn't. If you happen to have some undeniable proof that there is some being that created us and gave us perfect, I can name off about 25 atheists that would love to see this proof. So if you have this proof, you would be selfish to keep it to yourself.
makaisenki 3 years ago
Human identity can exist without a God. You can still have some form of ritualistic religion, but believing in a God is not important enough for humans to need. We can all live godless lives as we all should.
Nothing in this world is entirely good nor bad. It's the extremes that make a percieved action bad. You can kill someone if your life is in danger. Self defense is bad. Someone tries to shoot you dead, and you accidentally kill them, does not make you evil.
makaisenki 3 years ago
Some people take the "country" too far and hurt the people in order to help the "country" that's why I don't like patriotism. No good comes from loving your country, but loving it's people can do all the good in the world.
Ethnisicism is just stupid. No one should be prideful overly prideful of their variations. I refuse to say that there are different races of human beings. The differences from 1 human to another is just a variation based on habitat or environment. Hell I'm 1 part black anyway
makaisenki 3 years ago
No wrong. Patriotism is bad. You should never be overly patriotic. Being overly patriotic means that you are not willing to go against the country to protect the people. That is a bad thing to do. The people must always be treated more important than the government. People that are too patriotic view things the WRONG way. We can survive without a government. We'll just create a new one, but without the people to govern, the government is nothing.

flinch5549 3 years ago
I think you have that ass backwards. There are many countries that are prospering that do not believe in God. America has lost it's way because religion is forcing itself in as much as it possibly can. This fucking war is not an attack on American citizens. Iraq had nothing to do with any of it. It was a religious war and a war for oil.
Look at Bush. Most religious president we've probably ever had. Also, probably, the worst.
makaisenki 3 years ago
Makaisenki, we used to be a Christian nation. I think if you look at the media alone you can see that it isn't the most moral thing. And Bush isn't a Christian. He goes to bohemian grove and does mock human sacrifices to a damn stone owl. Seperation of church and state is a must. Only to the extent that the church isn't controlling the state. You don't wipe God out of everything. Then there isn't seperation of church and state. Theres just seperation, period. I'm done. Please don't reply. GG.
flinch5549 3 years ago
Why can't we wipe God out of our entire government? Every single damn thing you let a church get involved in, they will try to absorb, and corrupt. The Boyscouts is Mormon and is terrible because of it. Their existance breaks our reaking constitutional rights. They are a private organization and recieve government money.
I will reply. How is bush not a christian? Provide me with evidence. You made that claim, you must back it up. Otherwise we can just dismiss the rest of your ideas altogether!

Our country is based upon "laws not men." Do you know what that means? It does not mean it is based upon just any law or any man's law. What it means is that it is based upon the law as is in truth.

There are many countries that are predominantly non-Christian with LAWS where it is illegal to kill someone, and they don't need the 10 Commandments out of the Bible to have those laws.
