Monty did take credit for working one horse off another. Not all horses! There were others before Monty and there will be others after Monty. The difference is that he shares his expertise and experiences in a learning format, easy for all of us to understand.

The method works very well, but one thing I don't understand is, why Monty Robert says he invented the work with a horse while mounting . Just see how the "butteri" in Maremma Italy work with a young horse!

Absolutely people have trained from horseback before - but why have we never heard of this method being used to help headshy horses before?

I don't care who takes "credit" for this technique...it does work and should be included in basic horse training as much as ground work.
