Thats Nitro- glycerin. Glycerin on it's own is fine.

Yes, nitroglycerin will stop your heart if you put it on your body like that (in high enough concentrations)! I always wear thick gloves when I handle large quantities of it.

Omg I'm so glad someone is sharing this tip! I've been doing this for ages, my mum had me do it from an early age! Lovely lovely stuff that glycerin. It's also good for a deep conditioning treatment for the hair :)

Just put about a quarter sized amount mixed with water and run it through hair, and put on a plastic cap and then sit under a heating hair cap or wrap a hot towel around your head and yea, after 30 minutes to an hour, shampoo and condition!

i've started using glycerin in my hair too, after a shower while the hair is soaking wet i rub a nickle amount, ( i have long hair) on my ends. then I put it in a tie and let it air dry. I'm also going to add some perfume to the mix to see if it will keep the scent longer :)

it makes it shiny and softer, at the ends especially, but it's not like 'omg you look like you just got your hair done!' its nice and inexpensive, but not a huge difference,

it didn't make my perfume sent last longer but added to some that i was running out of it did give me More perfume than just dilluting it with water. hope that helps :)

depending of what you want to use it for:

-mixing medium (1 drop glycerine :3 drop water

-face moisturizer (1 drop glycerine :9 drop water)

Since the huge bottle is pure glycerin and not mixed or tampered with any other substance, it should be good to sit :) Just keep it in a dark shady area... Thats what I do anyway~
