in 2000 years maybe some one will hear this on a distant planet orbiting a friendly sun and think maybe what we had was worth saving but i fear we will be gone.
Soooooooooooooo good. Adamwilly - maybe it's a bit pointless / inappropriate to ask 'where did it all go wrong' when you happen to come across one of the best cuts ever made. I knew in the early 90s on hearing this, hearing the Steve Reich music samples, and so on, brilliantly done, it is a timeless classic, an amazin, wonderful piece, and the vid is wonderful also.
i heard this for the first time at a mall a couple of weeks ago, and i thought it was kind of scary. i remembered some of the words i heard in it, so when i got home i googled it and i found the song again. after listened to it some more i realise that it is not scary, it's awesome.
I use to listen to this before there was a thing called trance. It was originally released in July 1990 on the record label Big Life and peaked at #87 on the UK Singles Chart. The Orb also included it on their 1991 double album The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld. "Little Fluffy Clouds" was re-released several times with different b-sides, with its 1993 re-release reaching #10 in the UK.
this song makes me incredibly happy inside and makes me think of my childhood and how much fun i had with my friends just watching the clouds in the sky in the summer and now having a care in the world, the song its a little bit cheesy in its own right but its just amazing.
i am a fucking idiot, and i lose hard enough to never win again. Your comment is trolllicious, and by replying to THIS comment, you proclaim that you are a homo.
this shit takes me back to my rave and chill out days back in 96. the 90s were such an awesome time for me. i hate the 00s or whatever you want to call them. i need to go find a delorean.
@lowsten where did it all go wrong???(urban bling bollox 2 blame if ya ask me)...for a short moment we got the 60's back with early 90's rave culture....but the "love" was much more intense this time round (chemicaly induced or otherwise)wudnt surprise me if the empty materialism of urban was purposely thrust upon us by the record companys in retaliation to our new found free love, rip to the 90's rave dayz n chillout mornings!!
it follows a pattern. Free thinkers create a new scene, gangsters see money in the scene and move in, police react, government legislates and finally corporations move in to mop up the money.
Electronic music usually survives the test of time. Rap/Hiphop is continually having to reinvent itself because it's faddish. Funny thing is that most modern pop music could almost be considered techno. Compare mid 90's pop to today...
I really wouldn't bother, it might screw you up too much putting up with what the big sellers are today, just to find out. While there was always rubbish in the charts, in the 80s and 90s, there was also a reasonable amount of good quality popular music. I don't really think that's the case anymore, other than the (very) odd track here and there which is good.
@chicanutta dude can you "feel" music too (that tingling brain massage that starts in yer head n goes down yer spine making yer body glow??????)...i call it "surfing soundwaves"......feels gooooooooooooooood!!!
This song is so amazing! one of my favorite songs of all time grew up listening to this my dad showed me it and i loved it from the 1st time i heard it! may not be that old but old enough to tell a classic from a bad song......lol ^^ <3 THE ORB <3 and i agree asdop fails...... lol

Trolling is when someone replies in such a way so as to cause many comments/forum posts. Usually this person, the 'Troll', will fuel the comments/forum posts to keep them going. The term is often thrown around by people who don't really understand it.

I had heard they were sued over the use of her voice. I like Rickie too but, it makes the song all the better. Check out the Negativeland/U2 single. It was a dog named snuggles.

I remember being at my mates house when this arrived through the post. The VHS video and CD together. Getting them in sync perfectly was a little bit difficult. We were perfectionists and even 1/2 second difference was annoying....LOL
Reminds me of tripping inside my mates bed sit every weekend whilst they all went on the piss, I used to drop a few and curl up into a brown sleeping bag on a recliner chair and skin up, fucking awesome, then I'd have the piss-heads come back and bring me up to a different level... Great days
