I was at the race today. 70+ degrees and blue skys. To think of all the great drivers that competed here over the years and especially Dale Sr. is like going back into time. The racing was spectacular and the crowd filled the parking lots. I hope this track the best in the future and that it makes a great comeback. e3fan

Man this is awesomely sad.....I went there as a kid every time they had a race. I remember pal's did the concessions and that's when I got hooked on sauce burgers - lol Great job to the folks that put this together - thanks for the memories "sniff"

This is great but I'm disappointed that you didn't mention Connie Saylor. He was a big part of Kingsport Speedway in the 70's
