  • Have you ever tried swapping your kit so your playing lefty? My mates a left handed drummer and he was insistent that playing a right handed kit open handed was better for him... however when i finally convinced him to swap round he found it a lot easier and looked less like an idiot playing it haha plus, get some moon gel...

  • GOOD GOD MAN! IT SOUNDS LIKE A SKELETON MASTURBATING INSIDE A BISCUIT TIN!!

  • moon gel the snare for my ears.

  • poor snare harmonics..

  • i don't get it..whats the difference between 6/8 12/8 ?

  • @lairhab its the way its written and counted. they can make similar beats but there are 6 beats in a measure in 6/8 and 12 beats per measure in 12/8.

  • wow, this is the second peter van dyck making videos for expert vilage. and they both suck!

  • bad

  • Mate ur Kits sounds awful

  • 12/8 = 4/4

    thats it !!!

  • @TheCrenshawpunch

    Fucking wrong.

What if you have the drums playing in 4/4 and the bass in 12/8. Would 12/8 still equal 4/4, smart ass? Study your shit and then talk, ok?

  • @whatshendrix he's right dude its all that equivilance shit like you could have a guitar in 4/4 a bass in 8/8 so on and so forth and itll all work got to love sub dividing

  • @Crackels

You know, ignorance is one thing, but stupidity is another.

  • @TheCrenshawpunch no its 6/4

  • My eaaaaarssssss!!!! argh

  • ok, not a complex 12/8 beat, but enough to learn from and grasp the concept. But that shuffle was completey fucked up, and i was just counting a 4/4 rhythm in 16s.

Oh and just to re emphasise the common point here....tune your kit!

  • i dont get why these "teachers" are showing things when their kits arent tuned or setup correctly. its showing a bad example.

  • Because they ARE NOT TEACHERS.They are just people who upload videos and nothing more.

  • @busteruk You can't setup your set correctly.

As long as YOU can play it it's fine - it's all about personal preference ;)

  • @busteruk what do you mean buy set up correctly? you can have your kit how ever you want it for your style or for your liking...

  • @busteruk i know your comment was a year ago, but you kit set up is you're own personal preference since everyone's body is different, and what they like is different as well. And as far as the tuning, how does a properly tuned drum make you a better player? Watch my video "dirk ellis: crappy drumset, amazing drummer" and you'll see what i mean :) The worst drumset on the planet.

  • @busteruk i agree on the tuning but surely the setup is down to the drummer??

  • WOW! Two Thumbs Up.

  • Wow...this is sad, hey do me a favor lower your resonant head on your snare 1/2 step lower that dissonance sounds like shit and get a resonance ring in there A beautiful snare sounds like shit because you don't understand tuning learn...

  • stupid

  • shitt this beat is crap

  • a jaw dropping WOW!

  • you're easily impressed lol
