Thats true, all I am saying is we are not fixed on anything. If new evidence would rise to prove there really is a god/gods or magical pixies, I will accept it.

Fundamental simply means "Foundation" and has several more definitions.
Fundamental, in it's *proper* definition means to stay with the basic foundation of a belief, disbelief or philosophy.
Atheism: A - Theism (OE) A - Theos, Without God / No God. Does not believe in a God, gods or other supernatural authority.
That's it.
