@anonanon556 Uhmm. This happened while the Ducks were on their winning streak at the beginning of the season, no comments have been made in over two months, so that obviously has nothing to do with it, bro.
For anyone who could possibly say that Burns did that on purpose is absolutely ridiculous. Burns lifted his foot when he saw he was on his wrist, and even ran to meet the ambulance before they took Blake to the hospital to apologize and has even apologized more times after that. Hes a good guy, he in no way shape or form did that on purpose.
Honestly I am surprised this doesn't happen more often, I mean these highly skilled athletes fly around at crazy speeds all while wearing razor blades on there feet, kinda scary when you think of it that way.
@Goblues1980 It does. a week ago another player was cut across the knee. In the past, two well known players have been sliced across the neck. Luckily they lived.
Blake was playing the puck while falling and taking away Burns' stick by virtue of falling on it. Burns played the puck with his feet as is legal. It looks like when Burns realized he was stepping on Blake's arm, he shifted his weight back off the arm and kind of buckled backwards a little. They were both playing the puck and this is just a hazard of playing hockey at the top levels.
People: This is highly unlikely on purpose. The video is slowed down. And you can see as soon as he saw he was on his arm, he stopped his leg from pressing down and got off.
@bukakee1 part of the dangers of the sport, the guys basically have razor blades on their feet, last week a canadians player left the game with a laceration to his thigh when his teammates skate cut through his sock
Brent burns diddnt do it on purpose. Come on it was in the middle of a play and the video you saw was slowed down. That play happens so quick Blake was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@mytubewright possibly but in hockey things happen without you even knowing. i think the guy tried to control the puck with his skate but he missed. i dont think he did it on purpose though

Christ that looks painful, I'm glad it's nothing more serious. x_o;
And to be honest I'm going to assume you're certifiably retarded if you think that was intentional.

nevermind what happened to Malarchuck years ago and Zednick about 3 or 4 years ago
robj118 4 months ago
@robj118 they were cut across the neck. Blake was an arm. Malarchuk and Zednik had minuets to get medical attention or else they could've died.

@raran44 yeah, that was my point......

@robj118 Mike Modano had a similar freak accident that sliced his tendon.
