The first time I ever played Doom was in like 94-95, and it was on a compilation disk that had, Hexen, Herectic, Duke Nukem and 2 other FPS' that I grew very fond of. Anyone remember, Rise of the Triad or Blake Stone? Classic FPS. Big ups to CGR.

ANYWAY, I wish Doom would be like this again, I hated how they made Doom 3 a linear corridor-style horror thing with very few enemies (and they reduced all of this just to focus on pretty visuals instead), what a shame.

I hope Doom 4 returns to the open arena kind of shooter, with HORDES of enemies, secrets and card keys! Forget pretty textures, just make a lot of content and huge levels.
