Ha... Wow. Paramore is not an emo band. Any band that is as mainstream as Paramore can not be considered emo. Emo bands normally suck anyways, at least Paramore has some decent songs. Of course, not all emo bands suck, but the ones that become popular and go mainstream (My Chemical Romance for example) end up losing their label as emo. Hell, even dashboard confessional isn't emo anymore. By the way, I'm a classic rock fan.

Paramore is classified as emo. If something is mainstream it doesn't mean it's not emo. The vast majority of modern mainsteam radio is comprised of rap, pop, R & B, and obscure emo bands. It doesn't matter that you are a fan of SOME classic rock because that doesn't change the fact that you are trying to call a band not emo just because they are mainstream.
