Watching you pull the grains, the weight of that wet bag is one of the biggest reason why I stick with grain bills of 10 lbs or less. If you take a look at my biab videos you'll see that I use a large grate and a collendar to stick under the bag over the brew pot, let most of the major liquid drain before I have to move the bag to the top of the bucket to finish draining. Thanks!
@steeljan Hey Jan. You know, that's a good point. I sometimes use a colander, but having moved my bag a bit lower onto a propane burner, holding it in place becomes a lot easier.
I do like the way you clip your bag to the side of the kettle though - d'oh... don't know why I never thought of doing that.
Two things:
1) Your stove is amazing. I'm jealous and a half! ;)
2) Your accent is awesome. My wife suspects you're South African, I think you're from New Guinea. Mind setting the bet for us nosy folks?
