i've noticed that the 'new' EMP (along with other Dunhills) is now available from JN Barber in the UK (smoke.co.uk). i myself will be ordering some with me next order. Exciting times lol

No kidding!! I am watching this video and incredibly enough I am somking some dunhills Standart mixture I got a month ago for 5.50 Euros, may not be british but it is Dunhills and I bought it for the same price as an Early Morning Pipe tin. I agree they are awesome tobaccos, but for 60 quid, you can get tons of good old samuel gawiths Squadron Leader, 1792 or else. I love your videos whenever I see you I get good vibes, from spain I send you a lot of great wishes and tx for your fantastic vids!

ahh and i forgot to mention back long long time ago when murrays took over production from dunhill many people complained that it was an inferior product as well so there you go.

I used to smoke the murrays version and now I smoke the orlik version almost everyday and I can tell you it tastes the same. I think the only difference has to due with the aging process, not the manufacturer as both versions are wonderful! I should try aging some of my tins, a hard task lol

@Acaciavet I'm inclined to agree. I am all in favour of indulging in one or two luxuries when my wallet can take the strain, but it seems extreme when there are so many other blends out there to sample.

Hi, Jim--

I scored a "made in the UK" tin myself a couple months ago. Ruben (NorthGeorgiaPipe on YT) was generous enough to trade me for a tin of it. I'm a little over half way through the tin now, and while I do like it quite a bit, I don't think it lives up to all the nostalgic hype I had heard. But hey...everyone's palate is different.

My local shop has a few tins of 965 and they have them priced at $100 each. Needless to say, I won't be trying 965. I'd say I could do a little research and find something very similar much cheaper. Nice vid.

Hey Jim,

don't believe the hype about Orlik producing an inferior version of the Dunhill tobaccos (search "fred hanna orlik" on google).

I wouldn't smoke EMP outdoors, as its delicate flavours need to be savoured. The wind will blow away the smoke which contains the full aroma.

I agree that something a bit more robust is more appropriate for outdoor smoking, but it was a nice day and I fancied sitting in the sun for a bit.
