New album 'Anti-Gravity' now available on ltd gatefold LP from Amazon etc. Sunday Times ****, The List ****, Q 'Career high...their most consistent album for 20 years'
new album release on friday .. woo hoo .. I know gerrard langley ,,, and his brilliant drummer brother ... it is worth the wait ... appparently stunningly good ..
Ha, this is a great song- loved it when it came out. However I used to live above one of the guys from this band in St Werburghs Bristol and he was a bit of a git
Ah, how I remember taping this off the ITV Chart Show and trying to learn how to play it when I was about 19 years old...My dad, already an accomplished guitar player, loved this tune too and had it figured out long before I could. He's no longer around but the song remains. Here's to 'Jacket Hangs'and to my dear old dad ! xx
great band. shame about the addition of alex lee and rodney allen, both (were) arrogant brats; Lee with his public school background, and allen with his pretentious Billy Brag Bullshit.
@crasshelmet Ha ha love it mate. I saw Rodney Allen play Glastonbury in 86, he was about 7. He got the gig because he lived near the site. He was more Billy Bragg than Billy Bragg was. I bought his solo album, but I was young and foolish and a bit of a wanka.
Fuck, happy memories. Live, the guitar opening to this was every drug you ever wanted to try but were too scaredy to. And the solo was better. Angelo Bruschini, for a few brief moments you were God.
The greatest guitar band ever.....creating their own flow away from the mainstream for 30 years or more.....new album Anti-Gravity a cracker.....
