  • All you chevy and ford fags suck on that!

  • Badass track too

  • Mmm love the lady saying OHH yeas, she's loving it

  • I BOUGHT ONE DODGE IN MY LIFE AND IT WAS A DUMP TRUCK "THEY SAID" WAS HEAVY DUTY... I BURNED THREE TRANNYS OUT OF IT IN 2 YEARS. ON THE OTHER HAND I HAVE A 25YR OLD CHEVY "HALF TON!!!!!!" THAT I BEEN PULLING THE SAME LOAD THAT WASTED THAT DODGE DUMP.. TO THIS DAY ITS STILL PULLING THE SAME EXACT LOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS IN THE YARD RIGHT NOW WITH THE TRAILER ON IT THAT WASTED THE DODGE...NOT ONCE BUT 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!! DODGE IS JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!!!!

  • DODGE MADE THIS AND MADE THAT AND CHANGED IT UP... SWITCHED IT AROUND.. BECAUSE THEY COULDNT GET IT RIGHT!!!!!! THEY BEEN MAKING THE CHEVY 350 ALMOST THE SAME SINCE THE 50'S!!!! HOW COME THEY QUIT MAKING THE HEMI? CAUSE IT WAS JUNK!

  • HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!!!!

  • Good to see some 'Skips with a real Yanktank!

  • I'm a Mopar fan(if you couldn't tell from the name) but Chevy is the winningest American auto maker out of the old big three. Then Ford, and then Mopar.

  • because for years chevy was all anyone talked about. oh.... a 327 396 409 454. BFD. It's about time the Chevy snobs got the faces pushed into the sand. any V-8 MOPAR and a 727 is a winning combo. A and B body MOPARS are the shit.

  • good clean consistant run.

  • esse carro é muito louco..........kkkk

    abraço

    César Brasil

  • Why is every1 bashing Chevy all time, at least in 50s and 60s they made great cars, some people says MoPar is underdogs in racing, i'd rather think chevy is that, since they were not supported from factory in racing, had all the displacement limits blabla, while MoPar and Ford had no such limits :(

It's all time, Chevy is bashed, all time it's Chevy that's crap as i hear, all time people thinks so badly about chevy, why?

Expecily from MoPar do i often hear that when u mention Chevy, why?

  • wtf are you talking about? the small block chevy has competed and won in all forms of motorsports...the chevies are no underdog at all through sheer numbers...btw im a mopar guy.

  • @Eddiemotor chevrolets are bashed becasue of the HUGE misnomer that they are and were always the best.. they are dime a dozen motors for racing on a budget.. thats what they have going for them.. look at any "chevrolet" race motor and youll see its been de- chevy'd only to basically copy old factory chrysler parts.. shaft based adjustable rocker arms, 18 degree heads, angle plugged heads, skirted blocks, external oiling provision and alot more.. chevrolet is a bang for your buck motor.. great

  • MOPAR OR NO CAR BABY !!!

  • ...continuing with this, I also agree with GM's blatant manipulation of the rules to their favor. Why is every car in NasCRAP based off the Lumina? (Can you say IROC?) Oh yeah, why now are winged cars allowed, when in the 70s they weren't? Why did NasCRAP "adjust" their rules in the 60s when GM pulled out of all racing? Rename Nascar to GMcar. F***ing GM. They have been trying to by Chrysler for decades because of the Hemi, and odds are they will finally get their way. (Thanx US Gov't)

  • LOL , Mopar EVER !!! Cheap Chevy and Ford !

  • Thats why I hate Chevy, if they cant win they bitch and complain like little girls until they get their way, then do shady stuff to get records fixed. They are nothing more than dime a dozen junk, RO-23 Lightweight Dart would smoke anything Chevy ever made, and a GT500KR Mustang would too. The only thing going for them is the price and availibility because you can buy 350 parts at convience stores. Takes 3 times as much to build Mopar, and you get 3 times the car

  • You're full of crap like ten xmas turkeys. Mustang has always been the last in line. Type in Muscle Car Shootout and watch for yourself, if you're not to bloated by your own crap. Chevy dominates local track drag racing. Always has and always will. Oh, and the Hemi was and still is a great engineering feat but, have you ever heard of the Hemi Hunter? Better go look it up before you go running off at the neck.

  • Ok, I looked at it, big friggin deal, 1971 points champion. Look up the High and Mighy Mopars, or the Winged Mopars. Chevy dominates because it is dime a dozen junk just like I said, appearantly you can't read, why spend $6,000 on a 600 horse Mopar engine when you can spend $900 on a POS 350 with 590 horse? Look at a 502 BB chevy, whats in it and what it cost, then look at a comparable mopar BB wedge engine... BINGO...

  • They sure as hell don't dominate because they are faster. Build a Mopar ENGINE to run 9's and you could build a complete CAMARO to run 9's. at any rate, Mopar has the greatest factory engineered parts ever made, /6 is industructable, stock TF 727 can handle all the abuse of dragging, Hemi is the epitomy of engines, all Chevy racing junk is aftermarket, cause the factory parts are junk ass shit, that's why 90% of a Summit catalog is Chevy, Mopar makes one part, right, the first time..

  • @5773857734 CAN ANYONE NAME A CAR THAT IS MORE PROLIFIC OR ICONIC THAN THE CORVETTE? LOL... FOR ALL OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW ANY BETTER... THAT 7-SEC RUN YOU JUST WATCHED IS A 1/8 MILE... THATS A 12-SEC QUARTER MILE... THATS WEAK AS HELL. A STOCK Z-06 IS RUNNING 11 SECOND QUARTERS...AND MY STOCK SUZUKI "RICE BURNER" MOTORCYCLE IS MAKING 10'S SO WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING MOPAR VIDS AND WHACKING OFF TO THEM... REMEMBER. CHEVY DOMINATES IN ALL MOTORSPORTS... HANDS DOWN..

  • @69EATAPEACH I think it's just a matter of preference. However, a more prolific AND iconic vehicle could perhaps be the GT40, in my opinion. It won Le Mans 3 or 4 years in a row in the late 60's...that's a better example than a quarter mile time.

  • @69EATAPEACH 187 MPH trap in 1/8th mile? I think you'd better look again. I agree I've seen some more sedate looking and sounding cars that were close to this one, in terms of performance, but give credit where credit is due.

  • @5773857734 Don't see why people can't see to wrap their head around the concept that it it possible to have a favorite without everything else having to be "junk." The Hemi is a great motor; so is the LS7. The new Coyote 5.0 is great and affordable in a Mustang. Hondas and Ecotecs are great, too, if 4 cylinders @9000 RPM is your thing. Mopar is a little behind Ford and GM right now, in terms of performance, but who knows what next year will bring?

  • @hawkdsh mopar never left the #1 spot as far as performance goes. Have you ever watched the top fuel cars? they all use all aluminum chrysler based hemis that make 9000+ hp.And not to mention the SS/AA - SS/AH "A" bodied hemi cars are the fastest superstock cars in the world.literally. So idk why you say mopar is "behind" gm and ford when they never left the top spot as far as performance goes. Unless mabey your talking about this new latemodel bullshit ONLY.?

  • @5773857734 That's what the gm bandwagon crowd don't understand. When you build a chrysler motor, you can lay claim to it being a chrysler motor and not a plethora of shit from a catalog. And alot of the "special" aftermarket shit they buy out of those catalogs to make their motor "race ready", chrysler was already doing from the factory 50 years ago.18deg - angle plugged heads, shaft based adjustable rockerarms, skirted block, external oiling provisions.. not to mention the quality of the metal

  • @5773857734 continued: chevrolets win because of numbers, youll have a million chevrolets and one chrysler product. Ofcourse the chrysler product has to wade through most of the field before it finally (mabey) loses.. then all the chevrolet guys wanna talk shit and make a big deal about it because you just waxed a whole field of chevrolets and then lost to one finally.

  • I know because I am restoring a '62 Dodge Dart on a rotisserie, and I see thousands of parts for Chevy's, and minimal parts for Mopars, and most of those are for the E & B bodies, Cudas Chargers and Challengers. I spent more on the front turn LENSES than most 80's Camaro's are worth. Look for a NOS hood ornament, or an NOS grill for a '62 Dart, and when you find it, hit me back...

  • man thanks for the flash back, street racing is and for me was the ultimate rush, especially when the chevy guys were there in large numbers, i had a dodge demon 440 cu in, and a truck load of baby bottles for the chevy guys,i had my share of looses and wins, but when a chevy guy lost! man that shit was funny, one night i had to go to a guys mom's house at 4am to get my money, i felt bad cause the old lady had to dig in her own pocket to pay to save her son, those were some great times!

  • i'll take a 340 4 spd over any gm engine EVER, well, over any ford or mopar really, btw, the "hemi hunter" never bagged its game, fuck the bowtie,

  • The Hemi started in the '50's as a 331 CID engine, in '63 they made the 426 wedge based on a 413 engine model, and in 64 they added the heads, which are what makes a Hemi a Hemi. It has been the most prolific engine in racing history, the High and Mighty were '30's model CDPD's that had hemis shoehorned in them, they were so fast that Chevy complained until they were banned due to a crankshaft centerline height maximum, then Chevy got the weight class reduced so they could erase the H&M records.

  • Actually the smallest Hemi was the Dodge 270ci. I had one with the factory 6 pack intake. Also ran the 276 which was Desoto and second smallest. Had it in a 74 Cuda. However very few parts crossed over on those two. Even my 330 had few parts that were the same. Mopar did build a lot of innovation into their ideas but for a while it seamed that one group of engineers worked independent from the others.

  • back then they made a head that mounted on a chevy big block call the arias (i think) it was supposed to tople the hemi mostodon. what ever happen to that desighn?

  • The NHRA classified that engine as a Mopar since it used hemi heads, even though it was a chevy block. Needless to say, not many Chevy guys ran them and it faded away.

  • are those hemi that race in top fuel and so on, what is the cubic in displacment on those motors. Just wondering?

  • the motor currently used in this car is a 547 cubic inch tfx92

  • asombroso!!!

  • yo whites dads car won, that other car anit go nuthing on him

  • In 1970 the HEMI® powered Wing cars won 38 out of 48 NASCAR races. The 10 they lost, something broke. Phord & General Mistake complained "unfair advantage" So NASCAR banned the HEMI® from the high banks forever. Never watched nascrap again.

  • The Chrysler HEMI® (registered trademark of Daimler/Chrysler) is the ONLY engine that will produce 8000HP on nitromethane (and blown of course)& STAY TOGETHER. Once in a somebody will waste their time & effort trying it w/ a Big Block General Mistake.

Old News: The Chrysler HEMI® is the ONLY engine racers run in NHRA's 4 fastest. T/F, F/C, T/A, A/F.

The Chrysler HEMI® has won more races than ANY other engine by a mile.

  • dstewart1982 you have to be the biggest jackass of all time obviously you know nothing about cars without a power plant the car is useless, yes the tranny and rear end play an important role in making the car go fast BUT if you dont have the horse power to back it up then the car is worthless you say that you're a torque crazy wrench puller i would'nt let you work on my lawnmower stick to what you know and thats bench racing and hell you're not even good at that

  • as for stock factory produced motors ill take a 426 hemi thank you!

  • The Hemi designed engine is the FASTEST, most proven in HISTORY. So fast that all the top Drag Racers use the design.

  • the "engine" is not the fastest... the cylinder heads, along with piston shape and valve placement, provide the design required for the most complete and efficient burn of the fuel/air charge:

a "hemishpereical" combustion chamber, hence: "HEMI" ... engines need TRANSMISSIONS, and rear differential ratios, to make the CAR go FAST... you have to learn some basics, or the torque crazy wrench pullers like me are going to have a hay day with these kind of posts

  • I'll bet that you feel better getting that off your chest; you sure told me!! Whatever!! You go on believing that!!

  • hahah he's right though, it's just like when people say "if you get a turbo make sure you get the thing that goes PSSSHHH, it makes it way better" they don;t even know it;s called a bypass valve and they have no idea that it vents air to negate turbo lag by removing the vaccum that slows down the turbine between shifts, they just think it sounds cool and think it;s better for that. anyone can be like "hemi? yeah that's a really fast engine i hear stuff about it all the time!"

  • Just because the engine has a hemi ( hemispherical head) doesnt make its automatically fast. Actually, having a Hemi on an engine limits the capabilitys of the engine. Thats why most new engines dont use them.

Sorry old chap, your just plain wrong. And you sure got told by Mr Dstewart over there.

  • 8000 hp. on a push rod cam. What do know that is better? Please fill us in i would like to know!

  • With all due respect to all involved, it sounds like a % of you are to young to really know the engine design/legal/heritage. In racing, the Mopar professionals use expensive aftermarket components, BASED on the original. Common Joes use OEM components. BIG difference in the racing results!!!! Doing the "math" will always yield the most wins to GM; but it never = the better choice. I am & always will a Mopar guy. Can't write anymore (but would love to) - Youtube is limiting my character count.
