Nice collection!!! I got a big collection of different items of LOTR. I did a vid and it came quite long. Amazing figures, I really like them. Keep it up!
The cave troll swings the chain in the movie. The other is probably a Mordor troll. Aragorn fights one at the end of the 3rd.
Samwise is blond so I think Frodo's pal there is either Merry or Pippin. Pretty sure Pippin wore that orange shirt. Merry had a reddish one if I remember.
Gimli was the only dwarf party member so he might be the only dwarf with a figure.
@Onionkid99 I've seen the movies but I don't recall them in great detail. I plan to watch them again fairly soon when my son seems like he'd sit still through them. Ah, there was only one dwarf? I recall the hobbit best & I remember there was all the dwarves in that story.
@masterofflowers Yeah, I figure my son will like them. They seem a little on the fragile side. So I'm thinking I might wait until he's about 6 until I give them to him. Now that I've looked at them, I actually know which ones I need to buy. First time I ever looked at all of them. They are up in a bag in my attic, when I get new ones I just put them in there.
@woodwwad You have one very lucky son. And I guess you probably get joy out of the whole collecting process too. Your attic must be stacked to the top hehe.
@masterofflowers There must be a thousand toys up there, I mean that literally. Yeah, I really love finding the bargains. I've been starting to pick up other things I see out that I can resell to make a profit which allows me to offset the cost of buying the toys, or basically from here on out, most of what I buy him will be free. The main reason we do it so much is to get him out of the house so my wife can work from home without him running into the bedroom, we both work from home often.
@Jordellfreshbreeze Both of them? They look a good bit different but I guess they could be the same race. I was thinking they might be different races. Thanks for the note, you always do a great job feeding me info & I do appreciate it
@SirCampbellSoup Nope. The last game I played was the Forgotten Realms game Baldur's Gate II. Since my son was born it was something I put away, as it takes a vast amount of time & something needed to be cut. I'm not a huge video game fan. I guess it is something I somehow "grew out of." I did use to enjoy them when I was a kid.
I just play table top games which I've always liked much better.
I had a troll but someone tore the flex rubber off of his face. Pretty laaaame! I recommend picking up the 12" Ring Wraith if you can, hella' cool looking figure and he's beastly. Mine dangles on my stereo and holds an American Flag :P
@TabletopTitan Cool, I'll pick it up if I see it. To me, it's all about the price. Most of those toys I only paid a $1 or less for. I think each of the big ones were like $3 or $4 each.

I have a love/hate relationship with my LOTR toys. I think they look cool, but they take up a lot of room that I could be using for books, hehe.

@Samwise7RPG right on, was that one guy Samwise?
