ANet introduced an armor stack nerf a while back. This build is about 2 years old. As it was back then, you would have 40+40+20=100 extra armor. Since the nerf you would only get the highest armor, which would mean only an extra 40 armor. Armor stack nerf meant that you couldn't stack armor skills above 25, though a single skill would oush the limit over 25. "Save Yourselves!" give 100 extra armor to all other party members.
so ur saying that if u cant stack skills above 25 armor but if u use a single skill that goes over 25 then it only stays at 25? i dont think so i think u can use one skill thats allowed to go above 25 but u cant stack skills that high
No, i'm saying that ONE single skill (like "Save Yourselves!"), can push the limit over 25. I.e. SY! alone would give 100 extra armor, but SY!+WY! would give only 100 armor (not 120).
i know this is kinda out of the blue but i have a vid on W/Me IDS farming its still possible but if u use the build i made in the part 1 video of W/Me IDS farming you can kill azure shadows,trolls,ice golems and imps

Back in the day, everyone had heard of IDS, but no one was revealing any secrets on getting there solo so the run did matter. Plus i was pretty nub then so i couldnt run xD
i used to solo farm ids all the time until it was updated cuz it was so easy. i can still do it its jus a little harder now :P. mine is a R/Me. also i found that either 2 R/Me or R/Me + W/Me dual farming is very effective if u work together and u can trust them. i have yet to see a R/Me solo vid :/

I use a W/Mo Build with Sprint, heal sig, defy pain(elite), dolyak sig, Desperation blow, mending, healing breeze.
What you need to do is just spam defy pain and dolyak sig. You can also take off healing breeze and put in another +armor skill that requires strenght

Lol just did it on 1st attempt using troll, dry def, poison + kindle arrow, distract, dodge, Zojuns haste, light reflex....got stuck on the Azures at the top of the cave though...2ndry change needed for them i think. The Ice Beast was easiest of all lol....no IDS though just a bag full of crap ;p
Nice, you inspired me to try it with my ranger. I know i can solo the ice imps as my ranger has all mineral elites and i always finish the cave off when i've got it and the hench always compete to see who can stand under maelstrom longest. Just need to change my res and traps for running skills :)
I hope you know you have no idea what your talking about. 55er or ss farmer is for newbie solo farmers, been doing em for two years myself. Think out of the box myfriend you may learn something.

IDS are all 15^50 mate as standard,
mm think ill go try to get one now but on the new updates the place is spammed with siege ice golems making this now impossible to do
