Hi, im 14, and unlike some other people my age i do not want a ton of muscle, i take karata and I need to stay lean and flexible, what workouts do you i should do to lose and gain strength?

Hey Jeff, i used to train with my Dad at the gym about 5 years ago but when he moved away i completely stopped my routine, ive gained weight since then and im starting to train again. However a question that has always puzzled me was how often should i train? My brother told a while back that if i train none stop ill ache too much and my muscles wont rebuild, he also told me high weights and low reps is better than the opposite, are these true? If it helps im 17/male and i aim for your build.
in the martial arts I do needs for ever part of the body to be strong that includes the wrists and shins I heard that it can be done I was just asking

@19warfighter well.....shin is a bone so your not gonna get that much bigger...the only way you can get it stronger is by kicking....alot...the impact from kicking does much similar to lifting weights....kicking gives the bone VERY minor fractures and they grow back stronger and harder....forearm...do wrist curls, same with wrists(a bone also but the wrist curls will strengthen the connective tissue, thus making the wrist stronger)

@CaptainWhelk123 dude i bought athean x today and it is like £ 42-to £45 depending on the exchange rate . the payment will be taken off ur account by 42-45 because i they automatically convert it
@CaptainWhelk123 just go to google and type "67 USD to GBP" (which basically is telling Google '67 US dollars to Great british Pounds') and it will tell you the exchange rate for that day.

How do I get rid of the fat around my lower abs. I can see the rest of em quite well. But I can't seem to get the lower (around the belly button) to flatten out and get that v-shape. Help.
@MrNcredbl7 there is no such thing as spot fat removal. To have visable lower abs the only thing you can do it to lower your overall body fat percentage through good nutrition and cardio and the body will decide where the fat comes off.
i plan to be a personal trainer soon but i need to get bigger i went from 135-165lbs in one year but i plan to put 10more lbs but im afraid i hit a plateau

Just tried this one out...
It's a killer!!
Since I didn't have elasticbands I used the cable machine, set to the right height with enough weight to imitate the elasticband..
