@dechoong Its a battle of spending similar money. Panamera Turbo S is $173K and the RS6 was $160K........So it would be pretty stupid to put those in -- Unless you got to spend the difference in modifying these cars, in which the Audi and Porsche would be destroyed. completely.

The original intent of AMG and M road cars was to provide a usable, everyday car that could also put on a cape and chase around exotica. Now these cars are just exotica, with all the implied delicacy and finicky-ness. The last M5 was so shoddy you can get them for $25k. The Benz AMGs constantly break. Porsche are OK at best. Jags were never reliable. So what's the advantage? Why not have two cars--a cheap sedan/SUV for moving people/things, and a real exotic for those rare occasions?
