I think that circus is mostly misunderstood. I am friends of many carnie types and circus performers, and they are not like "the circus" which the multi-media portrays them. In fact, they are mostly full time performers who take their work seriously. Besides, many of my unicycle friends are freaks, and even software developers like myself have pride in being different. Be happy for what you do because it makes you happy, and anyone who says your a "freak" is probably some sort of jealous.

im thinking about going to NZ soon (from AU) and i might have to pay you a visit. are there more clubs like you around NZ? like in welington and christchurch?
I'm told there is something in Wellington, and Christchurch has the circus arts school so I would be surprised if you couldn't find something down there. Whats your main interest?
no offence but the circus gives unicycling a bad name it makes us seem like freaks
