If you look up "campy" in the dictionary this vid short will appear. Why did't he just bash that ape-rilla's head w' that boulder. Why take a chance on a cave-in not happening?
Lots of authorized Tarzan movies abused the author's original intent more than these did. I think after a certain number of decades--now almost a century--you have to allow that a particular character has become popular folklore, and stop suing over its usage.
thiis is a ilegal Tarzan film Edgar Rice Burroughs inc. did not ever let this film company use the Tarzan character, this film should not be on tube or anywhere, they stole the copywritten character of Tarzan. Do not judge Tarzan films by this film.
Sadly they started watering Tarzan down with less muscle and physical size` these wimppy looking Tarzans are less impressive than the heavier more muscular ones of the 50,s, very boring to look at.
In Spain his character was referred to as Tarzan but when they were released in English language territories they directly avoided mentioning the Tarzan name, instead referring to Hawkes character as _Zan of the Jungle
A great european Tarzan film, but Tarzan should have had more competition against him in order for the film to be called Tarzan's Greatest Challenge. What a bunch of wimpy pushovers!
Steve Hawkes still wears his Tarzan loincloth in Florida. He owns a mini-zoo with lions and tigers. A Current Affair had an article on him.
Thanks for this one. Tarzan took a chance, going back for the gold, that the gate would not come down on him again or that the gorilla would not revive!
You're right. The gate should have gone down and that ape, no matter how corny he looked, could easily revive from that cave in. Why the heck didn't Tarzan use his knife to waste that big ape anyway?
