what is the normal size of the bullets they use for their primaries these days? do they still use the 9mm sub machine gun or are they using 5.56 mm now.
I remember seeing them on LAPD- life on the beat. They are well trained and highly organized and efficient on preparation and deploy tactics. I wondered if they get some of their training from military personnel.
lots are ex military personnel. I wanna be on LAPD SWAT after I leave the Navy as a SEAL. of course the training I'll have as a SEAL will exceed SWAT training.
goddude89, if you are from Seal, why not join FBI SWAT team? i mean police is for city, and FBI is for US related. Not saying you shouldn't just saying there are other jobs that you can do with your great skills. Hope this hslped.

Only a very few make it. I would like to see CAR 16's in every car, choice of pistol. 1911 Kimber or Glock 21 .45acp. Up to the officers.
