I flew on il-62m when i was 16 years old it was in 1991 LOT polish airlines flew from Warsaw Poland to Montreal Canada it would be my dream to fly on it again but not to many are in service any more.

That is just fantastic. Not too often do you get a stem to stern in & out overview of a classic "whistler" Ilyushin IL-62M That cockpit layount with the turquoise blue scheme reminds me a little of a 1950's/1960's Powerwagon dashboard

@hadabenz Two questions on the IL 62: 1/ What instruments are there on the navigator's panel that there aren't on the pilots'? 2/ Is the navigator a career long navigator, or is he a man building his hours to become a pilot? Can anyone answer me these 2 questions, please!

@issueagent You can see that the tiller is in the yoke but not connected to it.

@issueagent There is an extra steering wheel, which is only visually connected to the yoke. They have nothing to do with each other actually.

I was a little kid when i fly in IL-62 last time. May be 20 years ago.
