those songs are great but eddie vedder should have won...into the wild was a revelation...and as a whole soundtrack is way far superior than the other nominees...more complete as a whole...a piece of masterwork from the legendary singer of the last great american rock act: pearl jam...also the voice of my generation!

Yes, they do, and they did tonight. However, I am sad to say "Enchanted" did not win for best song. Rats!

I am hoping there will even be an Oscars show this year; from the looks of thing, it may not happen. :( I'm hoping they perform these songs like Broadway numbers (Sets, costumes, chorus, etc.) as they did for "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" years earlier; it would be fun to see that again!!!!

If I had to choose from the three, it would either be "That's How You Know" or "So Close". Just one thing: How come "Ever Ever After" by Carrie Underwood wasn't nominated???
