Yeah, I second that. I'd like you see you capturing a Phoneutria sp (Brazilian Wandering Spider) on camera. If you can find a tarantula in a hole in the jungle floor, then you can find loads of Phoneutria as well. As they don't live in holes. They are everywhere.
Hey, thats a great way (even though it seems fairly obvious) to conquor any arachnaphobia you may have had. Nice 1 mate. As for the wandering spider....alllllways wanted to find one. And unfortunatly never been able to. My parents wouldn't let me when we took a trip to S.America when I was little, and this time, all I could find was this tarantula - I was very happy with her though!! Cheers mate,
No offence taken what-so-ever! I've always believed in enthusiasm in everything and when it comes to a reptile 'hunting' trip, i'm like a kid in a sweet shop....as you can probably tell! Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it,
im very much the same lol even in reptile stores im rhyming of latin names and care guides lol (quite bad i suppose) infact im in my local so much they have employed me haha
Haha, nice 1!! 'Thankfully' I don't really have any herp stores around me, or I'd never come out of them. I'm afraid the funding has pretty much run out now! I worked hard for 6months and then did the cheapest backpacking possible, plus my parents live in California temporarily, so that helps! Cheers
Cheers mate, she certainly was an absolute beauty. Glad to hear you got one - the red-knees have to be one of the most beautiful of all spider species, congrats! Thanks, Ben
I know where you are located in the video.
You are close to a Mayan ruin like Tikal.
