A "birther" according to you is someone who asks to see the president's birth certificate. Asking for a document is not exactly the same as assuming he is not born in America. For example, candidates are routinely asked for tax filings, medical records, college transcripts etc. but for some reason, the one document which alone, qualifies someone to run for president, simply cannot be provided.

Seems rather strange that this vid spends so much time talking about Obama's parents when US law makes it clear that birth on American soil is would already qualify him for the presidency. Parentage doesn't matter if that first qualification is met. What makes or breaks the case is Obama's place of birth, not who his parents were.

A "birther" according to you is someone who asks to see the president's birth certificate. Asking for a document is not exactly the same as assuming he is not born in America. For example, candidates are routinely asked for tax filings, medical records, college transcripts etc. but for some reason, the one document which alone, qualifies someone to run for president, simply cannot be provided.

It stands to reason that Barack could also have been born abroad, and there has been no official statement from the administration on the matter. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California.
