@turbonetic777 im one of those "new driving young bucks" that youve eluded to but i know enough about cars and have enough respect for a gn that i know better than to challenge one. like u and tonyonlyhomey this is my dream car. im going to be landscaping this summer upwards of 50 hrs/week so im hoping that ill be able to buy one this summer. im hoping for a stock-slightly modified 87 with t tops and between 50xxx-75xxx miles but we'll just have to wait and see how that turns out.

tonyonlyhomey....same here...it was my dream car as well...I now own a 87 GN..man way faster and better than I ever imagine...I hve beat everything that made the mistake of challenging me..even though she is my baby and I hate racing her..but someone has to teach these new driving know nothing young bucks a lesson..lol

love the car but u shouldve went with the 87. i know the 86 is a little more rare but the 87 has that extra power. none the less, this is still an amazing piece of machinery. buicks for life!

to dshaws90fordf150: these cars come with 231 ci turbocharged v6 engines. yes its a buick and yes its a v6 but it will destroy most v8s that make the mistake of challenging it. definately a sleeper.

ps-fords blow. long live the gn. skylarks, wildcats and rivieras are also nice.

they were made every year from 84 to 87 and only 86 and 87 were intercooled so those are the years to look into

actually, there was a grand national package offered in 82, there wasn't an 83, then 84-87 were the all black grand nationals. I own an 84 grand national.

@03machwon id rather leave the gn series where they are now without any new ones being made because most likely they will never produce a gn like they did in the 80s they wont be able to make one as good
