Historically, Renaissance begins in 1492 and lasts for half a century, more or less... as far as Italy is concerned, I would say. However, in the history of music, the period called "renaissance music" lasts until the beginning of 17th century. But also just from the point of view of history, you can think of the Elisabethan age, which can be considered as an English renaissance: in fact, Elisabethan music is "part of" the renaissance music. Claudio Monteverdi, then, is the bridge between renai
@aaa333ify This is renaissance music, not the middle ages, unfortunately we have very little music from that period and I completely agree with Alixvhessen
@aaa333ify That depends on the region and the subject you are referring to (Music, architecture, society...) - in Italy you could count the late 14th. c. as a part of the Renaissance, whereas Britain barely has a Renaissance until the 16 th. c.
This music however is definitely in the style of the Renaissance.
@shugarpie23 I guess you'd be quite surprised as to what concerns the smells, tooth condition etc :) Let's say: just enjoy their enormous music and arts :) Greets
The musical style is so amazing... i love this period!! the cookie-cutter stylke of popular artists could use some education.

Going to a new world with this music. Creating America taking gold and giving the katechism. This is the Pizzarro-Feeling.
