who cares if it somewhat innacurate. leave it to the other cleopatra movies and history books. this movie is the best version by far... even with a lower budget because it flexes and flows. amazing piece of effort.

To anyone complaining about historical accuracy: this is a famous George Bernard Shaw play. It isn't an accurate account but then it wasn't intended to be one. It is, however, wickedly clever.

Actually this is terribly inacurate. When I saw it, I was like: "But what about the marriage and the baby and all that?" There was none of that in the movie. Ok film, but very historically inacurate.

what this trailer fails to show is that this is basically a comedy. A very funny one too. Very clever.

their were many complications during the film......since most of the film was shot in europe when world war 2 was still around....their were many buzz bomb attacks and the cold made it more difficult...vivien leigh also found out she was pregnant with laurence olivier's child...who was her husband at the time......but then after falling while filming a scene....she suffered a miscarriage and was told she needed rest and was in the hospital for 2 weeks
